When some people read this they’re going to think that I’ve gone way off the deep end but I wouldn’t write something that I haven’t studied, thought about and prayed about first so read on.

First let’s go back to the nation of Israel. They were slaves of Egypt and Moses told Pharaoh to let them go to worship their God. Did they go? Yes. Did they worship their God? It doesn’t say but it does say that they complained a lot. Did they inherit the new land that God promised? No, but their descendants did.

I have no idea what that means to us, but He took care of them and He’s taking care of us so let’s be sure to worship Him with more than our intent.

Things may not always go as we desire but remember we are here for God’s will not accomplish our will.

Worship means much more than church attendance and certainly way more than keeping a set of rules. So regardless of the way things work out you must remember that God’s in control not you. He made this world and He’s working for us.
