Many people are involved in performing Special Education and there are many people who need it and would do better if they got it.
Do they get it?
Well, that depends on how you view it.
Societal standards say the a person can only learn a certain way and they have a level for people to be what they have been determined to be successful. Which is good if a person meets those standards.
But if a person doesn’t, then you just do the best that you can and the standards then determine where that person falls.
Is that the way things should be?
No it’s not.
Why?
Because those standards have been developed by people and people don’t make people-God does.
So what do you think God thinks?
We all know that God created people in His image so is His image that of a failure? No. So are people failures if they don’t meet those standards? Nope, remember their Creator.
So what’s the problem?
Good question. I’m not sure that they have a problem. I think that our Societal Standards are a bit limited but people are fine!
For example, I go to a Sunday School class for disabled adults. In other words these people don’t meet societal standards and they are not welcome anywhere else so they go there.
Do I ever notice that they have a problem?
No I don’t.
They are kind and caring people who are my family. They even call me and greet me. They’re wonderful people!
But, they don’t meet societal standards so do they have a problem? No. Society does. It’s not them!
So now Special Education depends on what standards you are using: Society’s or God’s.

It’s been nearly 10 years since I was attacked.
At the Trauma Center after my attack all of the educated human adults said: “He’ll either die or be a vegetable” but I am alive and living in an apartment.
This morning while I was making my breakfast I realized that at times I was noticing things and doing things that were not at all normal for someone with my diagnosis to be doing.
I’m sure that as a human I could find some reason for that, but as a Christian I know the reason for that. It’s called a miracle that God has done and human non Christians do not believe in miracles.
Let’s go back to creation. Christians believe what God said but non believing humans made up Evolution, and similar stories go on and on due to a lack of faith.
But people just need to see that since 1+1 do not = 2, there must be another reason for it—God’s power!
I do! I know that there is a reason that I am alive and things happen as they do. When 1+1 no not = 2 but it’s real, I can either know that it’s a miracle or make something up, and as a believer, I cannot make something up no, it’s a miracle!
And I can’t get technical and say “In my opinion THIS is a miracle but THAT is not.” No, I have the brains to say that 1+1 do not =2 so it must be a miracle from God.
And that’s what I do.

I am going to have to keep thinking about this because it’s not easy but it’s true.
As humans we are born into WHO’S world? Satan runs this world because God gave it to him!
So everything, and I mean everything, is devised by and for him. He wants to look good. So it’s no surprise that we do too!
So absolutely everything from the point of birth is to make us look good. Success is based on that. Totally.
Now, think about this:
Who created you? God.
Who is in total control of everything? God.
Who threw who out of Heaven? God threw Satan out of Heaven.
Who is Jesus? The son of God.
Who came to this Earth? Jesus.
Who was put to death on this Earth? Jesus.
Who tried to look good when Jesus died? Satan.
So the whole desire to “look good” and be “the best” comes from Satan because NEVER in the Bible does God teach us to be like that. In fact, when I first read the Old Testament all I thought was that people continually failed and I wondered what was the purpose that it was there?
But now I know.
It is there to teach us that we should try to be more like God (our creator) and how He is, was and will be.
Love each other, be patient with each other and bless each other.
So with this in mind we can be more loving, patient, forgiving and blessing with others because God is with us.
Now, when our cars break down, our jobs are hard or people just don’t do what we think that they should we should NOT GET ANGRY rather turn it over to God and KNOW that He will deal with it His way.
That’s why I’m where I am.

I was just watching: “A Taste of Ireland” on Food Network and I wondered “Why did I enjoy traveling so much?” and “Why do I remember it so much?”
And I realized that it was because I knew that I was in a different country, not at all normal! Some things to learn!
And because I enjoyed learning, I loved traveling to other countries and travel I did! 6 countries and I had a wonderful time each time and I’m glad that I did! I can honestly watch something on TV and experience being there.

Jesus said that we had to become like children to obtain the kingdom of Heaven.
So what are children like?
They’re just people who depend on their parent. That’s all. There aren’t certain things that they do or say. They aren’t always good either. But they do depend on their parent.
But human people do expect certain things from children. And that’s odd because human children aren’t that way to their parent. And as God’s children we are not treated that way by Him.
Children are “taught” what is expected of them and by whom and they are rewarded for meeting those expectations and punished for not meeting those expectations.
Therefore a child knows what is expected and looks for certain things to happen when they do things.
Nowadays this World expects many things from children. Grades and such are just an example of expectations that are made of a child. And we teach children how to behave based on those expectations. Expectations, expectations, expectations.
However, God does not treat people that way, and we are His children. People just do what they want. At judgment He will evaluate what they have done and based on what they have chosen He will evaluate & choose their destination.
So according to that, we should know that if we remember and please our Father, we’ll know where we’re going?
Actually we don’t have any say so in that at all. He does.
I wish that I could tell you how to behave but I don’t know because it’s not up to me. I just know who to love and depend on.
The Old Testament is filled with story after story of people doing what they chose to do
and “time” went on. And for a long time I didn’t understand what was going on and why it was documented for us, but now I think that I know.
I am extremely handicapped and there are many things that I can’t do anymore, so in this world I do not fit well but in God’s world I fit very well.
I have faith and that’s all and I think that He expects me to have that, but nothing more. Do children have faith in their parent? Yes and I’m supposed to be like a child.
Do you have faith?

Eph 3:20
20 Now to him who is able to do immeasurably MORE than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,
NIV
In society today and as humans MORE is generally thought to mean: “better”, and that may be true but it does not necessarily mean “better” in our World or “better” than what WE thought would happen. No, because WE are not doing it, He is.
So things may or may not be “better” than we thought. That’s not the point at all. Who is doing it? God not us. And the last time I checked no one who is reading this was able to create the World or rise from the dead, but God is.
So what may happen may not question our standards, but WE didn’t create the World, and WE didn’t rise from the dead, but God did.
Therefore if we have faith that He is in control, more than we can ask or imagine, things will happen and may be differently that we had anticipated but that’s ok.
God is our Father. And a father is not just a father for a short time. No, he is always a father. And God knew this long before He became our father. And He is the same yesterday, today and forever. So He never changes, but we do.
So do not be so quick to decide what should or will happen. Just remember who is in control and know that He will do what is best. Even if we don’t.
This came to me because I had gone to the hospital and then was returned back home right away (too soon?) and I had to go right back to the hospital because I was sick. And I wondered “why?”
But when I thought about it then I realized that the exact definition of “more” was not up to me.
Yes, I thought that I would be in the hospital until at least Monday but I came home today and it was NOT what I had anticipated at all. But I’m home anyways. And I firmly believe that it is more than I could ask or imagine.

You don’t ever have to wonder or guess what will happen. God takes care of everything. Even when you are confused or unsure, just rely on God.
Tuesday and Wednesday at lunchtime while drinking I passed out and afterwards I got very cold and sweated a lot. I was scared and confused and so was my roommate.
So I called Hospice. They did come but clearly did not care and gave no hope or explanation.
So I called the Paramedics so they came and called Hospice from here. They wanted to take me to the hospital but Hospice said NO and said that they would come again.
But they never came and the Paramedics left.
So I called the Paramedics again and went to the hospital. After several hours and tests they found out that I had an infection and treated it in the Emergency room. Then the most amazing thing happened!
Then they sent me home!
I couldn’t believe it! They agreed that to pass out twice was not good, they found the problem, treated me and sent me home!
Don’t ever or worry about things. God is good and things will happen. I live unable to make things happen but they do and they’re always good!

Just one of the reasons that I am so amazed is that it’s been 9.5 years since my attack and I’m becoming more and more aware of things!
I’m not dead or a vegetable like I was predicted to be, no I’m getting better and better every day. Will I ever be healed? Most likely no but I would just expect that as “normal” or expected.
No, the things that I see are “unusual” and “not normal” therefore they ARE miracles and I know that they are from God.
