The most important things for human beings to realize are #1 God created humans to bring Him glory and #2 our good future depends on our relationship with Him. If we have anything but an unlimited relationship with God then we won’t end up in Heaven. This is all outlined in God’s word, the Bible but it is totally different from what the world teaches people
Our society teaches humans that they have to be #1 but God tells humans in the Bible that He is #1 and that you are #2, so according to God it’s not about you-in fact He tells you that you are not in the driver’s seat-He is! So who do you believe? God or society?
Rev 16:15 Keep watch! I come unannounced, like a thief. You're blessed if, awake and dressed, you're ready for me
Rev 12:7-9 7 War broke out in Heaven. Michael and his Angels fought the Dragon. The Dragon and his Angels fought back, 8 but were no match for Michael. They were cleared out of Heaven, not a sign of them left. 9 The great Dragon — ancient Serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, the one who led the whole earth astray — thrown out, and all his Angels thrown out with him, thrown down to earth.
Rev 11:15 The kingdom of the world is now the Kingdom of our God and his Messiah! He will rule forever and ever!
Rev 9:6 people are going to prefer death to torture, look for ways to kill themselves. But they won't find a way — death will have gone into hiding
Rev 7:15 serve him day and night
Rev 2:7 I'm spreading a banquet of Tree-of-Life fruit, a supper plucked from God's orchard
1 John 3:20 For God is greater than our worried hearts and knows more about us than we do ourselves
1 John 2:15 15 Don't love the world's ways. Don't love the world's goods. Love of the world squeezes out love for the Father.
1 John 2:6 Anyone who claims to be intimate with God ought to live the same kind of life Jesus lived. After all, we are His body…
2 Peter 1:20-21 20 The main thing to keep in mind here is that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of private opinion. 21 And why? Because it's not something concocted in the human heart. Prophecy resulted when the Holy Spirit prompted men and women to speak God's Word.
2 Peter 1:13 This is the post to which I've been assigned — keeping you alert with frequent reminders — and I'm sticking to it as long as I live Me too!
1 Peter 3:20 You know, even though God waited patiently all the days that Noah built his ship, only a few were saved then, eight to be exact
1 Peter 3:9 that's your job, to bless …no matter what!
1 Peter 1:23 Your old birth came from mortal sperm; your new birth comes from God's living Word Born again…
1 Peter 1:21 you have a future in God YOU have a future! And it’s NOT the future that you think!
1 Peter 1:17 Your life is a journey you must travel with a deep consciousness of God Remember: God created YOU to bring Him glory!
1 Peter 1:7 When Jesus wraps this all up, it's your faith, not your gold, that God will have on display as evidence of his victory.
1 Peter 1:7 genuine faith put through this suffering comes out proved genuine
James 4:12 12 God is in charge of deciding human destiny
James 3:13 It's the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts
James 3:13 Do you want to be counted wise, to build a reputation for wisdom? Here's what you do: Live well, live wisely, live humbly. It's the way you live, not the way you talk, that counts
James 3:9 9 With our tongues we bless God our Father; with the same tongues we curse the very men and women he made in his image

Since God already has a will AND He has known your whole life since before you were born and you want to spend Eternity with Him any prayers that you make to Him should just be of praise to Him and NOT just what you want to happen or what you think that you need
People have a very bad habit of praising other human people whereas I only praise God the Father
James 1:21 let our gardener, God, landscape you with the Word, making a salvation-garden of your life.
James 1:12 12 Anyone who meets a testing challenge head-on and manages to stick it out is mighty fortunate. For such persons loyally in love with God, the reward is life and more life.
Normal teachers study human devised text and then teach others what the text says and I am no different in what I do except that my text is the word of God and I teach from that
James 1:10 Prosperity is as short-lived as a wildflower, so don't ever count on it
Heb 13:13 13 So let's go outside, where Jesus is, where the action is — not trying to be privileged insiders, but taking our share in the abuse of Jesus That’s how the body of Christ acts
Heb 13:13 13 So let's go outside, where Jesus is, where the action is — not trying to be privileged insiders, but taking our share in the abuse of Jesus
Heb 13:8 Jesus doesn't change — yesterday, today, tomorrow, he's always totally himself.
Heb 13:4 God draws a firm line against casual and illicit sex
Heb 12:7-8 This trouble you're in isn't punishment; it's training, 8 the normal experience of children
Heb 12:7 7 God is educating you; that's why you must never drop out
Heb 11:3-13 3 By faith, we see the world called into existence by God's word, what we see created by what we don't see. 4 By an act of faith, Abel brought a better sacrifice to God than Cain. It was what he believed, not what he brought, that made the difference. That's what God noticed and approved as righteous. After all these centuries, that belief continues to catch our notice. 5 By an act of faith, Enoch skipped death completely. "They looked all over and couldn't find him because God had taken him." We know on the basis of reliable testimony that before he was taken "he pleased God." 6 It's impossible to please God apart from faith. And why? Because anyone who wants to approach God must believe both that he exists and that he cares enough to respond to those who seek him. 7 By faith, Noah built a ship in the middle of dry land. He was warned about something he couldn't see, and acted on what he was told. The result? His family was saved. His act of faith drew a sharp line between the evil of the unbelieving world and the rightness of the believing world. As a result, Noah became intimate with God. 8 By an act of faith, Abraham said yes to God's call to travel to an unknown place that would become his home. When he left he had no idea where he was going. 9 By an act of faith he lived in the country promised him, lived as a stranger camping in tents. Isaac and Jacob did the same, living under the same promise. 10 Abraham did it by keeping his eye on an unseen city with real, eternal foundations — the City designed and built by God. 11 By faith, barren Sarah was able to become pregnant, old woman as she was at the time, because she believed the One who made a promise would do what he said. 12 That's how it happened that from one man's dead and shriveled loins there are now people numbering into the millions. 13 Each one of these people of faith died not yet having in hand what was promised, but still believing. How did they do it? They saw it way off in the distance, waved their greeting, and accepted the fact that they were transients in this world.
Heb 11:1 The fundamental fact of existence is that this trust in God, this faith, is the firm foundation under everything that makes life worth living. It's our handle on what we can't see Most humans don’t want a handle on what they can’t see
Heb 8:7-12 7 If the first plan — the old covenant — had worked out, a second wouldn't have been needed. 8 But we know the first was found wanting, because God said, Heads up! The days are coming when I'll set up a new plan for dealing with Israel and Judah. 9 I'll throw out the old plan I set up with their ancestors when I led them by the hand out of Egypt. They didn't keep their part of the bargain, so I looked away and let it go. 10 This new plan I'm making with Israel isn't going to be written on paper, isn't going to be chiseled in stone; This time I'm writing out the plan in them, carving it on the lining of their hearts. I'll be their God, they'll be my people. 11 They won't go to school to learn about me, or buy a book called God in Five Easy Lessons. They'll all get to know me firsthand, the little and the big, the small and the great. 12 They'll get to know me by being kindly forgiven, with the slate of their sins forever wiped clean. Not one sermon on this! I only learned it from reading the Bible
Heb 3:12 12 So watch your step, friends. Make sure there's no evil unbelief lying around that will trip you up and throw you off course, diverting you from the living God
Heb 2:13 I live by placing my trust in God
Heb 2:2-3 If the old message delivered by the angels was valid and nobody got away with anything, 3 do you think we can risk neglecting this latest message, this magnificent salvation?
Titus 1:2 My aim is to raise hopes by pointing the way to life without end
2 Tim 3:15-17 There's nothing like the written Word of God for showing you the way to salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another — showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God's way. 17 Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us. That’s the ONLY school that I attend!
2 Tim 3:12 12 Anyone who wants to live all out for Christ is in for a lot of trouble; there's no getting around it.
2 Tim 3:1 There are difficult times ahead
1 Tim 6:6 6 A devout life does bring wealth, but it's the rich simplicity of being yourself before God
1 Tim 5:4 religion begins at your own doorstep
1 Tim 4:13 13 Stay at your post reading Scripture, giving counsel, teaching I do, do you?
1 Tim 4:7 Exercise daily in God daily
1 Tim 2:8-10 8 Since prayer is at the bottom of all this, what I want mostly is for men to pray — not shaking angry fists at enemies but raising holy hands to God. 9 And I want women to get in there with the men in humility before God, not primping before a mirror or chasing the latest fashions 10 but doing something beautiful for God and becoming beautiful doing it.
I have read again and again in the Bible that even though people do bad things-we are to love them and that God is that way with us
2 Thess 3:2 I'm finding that not all "believers" are believers I find that this is true also and I’m glad that it is in the Bible!
2 Thess 1:2 God gives you everything you need, makes you everything you're to be.
1 Thess 4:9 You're God-taught I am, are you?

Wednesday, May 29, 2013

When people are in a very intense personal situation they don’t hesitate to pray as if that situation will prompt God to do something for them unfortunately thinking that YOUR situation will prompt God to act for you is rather silly because you are only here to meet His will so your will doesn’t even apply to anything!
Pleasing God is not like being graded! The KEY THING to remember is that before all creation God decided to make human beings to bring glory to Him and He created a new Earth for those humans to live in for eternity but to go there at all you have to bring glory to God during your life on Earth
Humans base EVERYTHING on their abilities in fact that is what schools are about but I am very different! I, personally have NO abilities but I simply rely on God
1 Thess 3:3 3 Not that the troubles should come as any surprise to you. You've always known that we're in for this kind of thing. It's part of our calling
Col 3:14 regardless of what else you put on, wear love. It's your basic, all-purpose garment. Never be without it.
Col 3:11 11 Words like religious and irreligious, insider and outsider, uncivilized and uncouth, slave and free, mean nothing
Col 2:11 11 Entering into the fullness of Christ is not something you figure out or achieve
Col 2:8 empty traditions of human beings
Col 2:1 Not many of you have met me face-to-face, but that doesn't make any difference. Know that I'm on your side, right alongside you. You're not in this alone.
Col 1:27 27 God wanted everyone, not just Christians, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing
Phil 4:11-13 I don't have a sense of needing anything personally. I've learned by now to be quite content whatever my circumstances. 12 I'm just as happy with little as with much, with much as with little. I've found the recipe for being happy whether full or hungry, hands full or hands empty. 13 Whatever I have, wherever I am, I can make it through anything in the One who makes me who I am.
Phil 3:17 Keep track of those you see running this same course, headed for this same goal …and as the Bible says, there won't be many because few are called…
Phil 2:13 God's energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure. … God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure
Phil 1:29 29 There's far more to this life than trusting in Christ. There's also suffering for him. And the suffering is as much a gift as the trusting
Eph 6:17 God's Word is an indispensable weapon
Eph 5:5 5 You can be sure that using people or religion or things just for what you can get out of them — the usual variations on idolatry — will get you nowhere, and certainly nowhere near the kingdom of Christ, the kingdom of God.
Eph 3:20 20 God can do anything, you know — far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!
Eph 3:7 7 This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to God’s plan
Gal 6:12 look good before others that’s what society teaches but scripture says that God is not interested in what humans are interested in…
Gal 6:4 Don't compare yourself with others
Gal 5:26 we will not compare ourselves with each other as if one of us were better and another worse
Gal 5:17 there is a root of sinful self-interest in us that is at odds with a free spirit
Gal 5:14 everything we know about God's Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself
Gal 5:6 in Christ, neither our most conscientious religion nor disregard of religion amounts to anything oops!
Since God through Jesus Christ freed humans from the Law then why are humans still bound by the Law? Isn’t that simply negating what God has already done?
Since Jesus Christ freed humans from the Law then why did humans recreate the Law?
Gal 3:11 The person who lives in right relationship with God does it by embracing what God arranges for him. Doing things for God is the opposite of entering into what God does for you
Gal 3:10 anyone who tries to live by his own effort, independent of God, is doomed to failure
Gal 2:19 I tried keeping rules and working my head off to please God, and it didn't work Human beings could be pleased IF but God is pleased at His efforts not mine
In the old days it was thought by people that Jews were a big deal with God and now days it is thought that Christians are a big deal with God and who knows what will be thought in the future!
Gal 1:10 If my goal was popularity, I wouldn't bother being Christ's slave
Gal 1:1 My authority for writing to you does not come from any popular vote of the people, nor does it come through the appointment of some human higher-up. It comes directly from Jesus the Messiah and God the Father, who raised him from the dead. I'm God-commissioned.
2 Cor 12:9 I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift
2 Cor 12:7 so I wouldn't get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations …the GIFT of a handicap… Disability? NO!

Without even a small doubt I feel incredibly loved, accepted and cared for by God but totally not a part of society
2 Cor 6:16 each of us a temple in whom God lives
2 Cor 6:9 ignored by the world, but recognized by God
2 Cor 5:9 Cheerfully pleasing God is the main thing
2 Cor 4:18 The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can't see now will last forever. …eye candy is what we see today…
2 Cor 2:14 in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. Through us, he brings knowledge of Christ knowledge of Christ will get you eternal life in Heaven but no degree or money on Earth
2 Cor 2:14 in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade
1 Cor 15:37-38 37 We do have a parallel experience in gardening. You plant a "dead" seed; soon there is a flourishing plant. There is no visual likeness between seed and plant. 38 You could never guess what a tomato would look like by looking at a tomato seed. What we plant in the soil and what grows out of it don't look anything alike. The dead body that we bury in the ground and the resurrection body that comes from it will be dramatically different. Right now on Earth God has given us this “proof” of resurrection in gardening but most people don’t see it!
1 Cor 13 If I speak with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. 2 If I speak God's Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that says to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps, but I don't love, I'm nothing. 3 If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love. 4 Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, Doesn't have a swelled head, 5 Doesn't force itself on others, Isn't always "me first," Doesn't fly off the handle, Doesn't keep score of the sins of others, 6 Doesn't revel when others grovel, Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, 7 Puts up with anything, Trusts God always, Always looks for the best, Never looks back, But keeps going to the end. 8 Love never dies. Inspired speech will be over some day; praying in tongues will end; understanding will reach its limit. 9 We know only a portion of the truth, and what we say about God is always incomplete. 10 But when the Complete arrives, our incompletes will be canceled. 11 When I was an infant at my mother's breast, I gurgled and cooed like any infant. When I grew up, I left those infant ways for good. 12 We don't yet see things clearly. We're squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won't be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We'll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing him directly just as he knows us! 13 But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly. And the best of the three is love.
1 Cor 11:18 18 I get this report on your divisiveness, competing with and criticizing each other
1 Cor 9:4 We who are on missionary assignments for God
1 Cor 7:31 This world as you see it is on its way out.
1 Cor 1:17 17 God didn't send me out to collect a following for myself, but to preach the Message of what he has done, collecting a following for him
Rom 15:2 2 Each one of us needs to look after the good of the people around us, asking ourselves, "How can I help?"
Rom 15:1 Strength is for service, not status
Rom 14:18 18 Your task is to single-mindedly serve Christ
Rom 14:13 13 Forget about deciding what's right for each other. Here's what you need to be concerned about: that you don't get in the way of someone else, making life more difficult than it already is
Rom 14:1 Welcome with open arms fellow believers who don't see things the way you do. WOW!! Churches should read this!
Rom 13:1 All governments are under God.

Rom 12:10 practice playing second fiddle our culture teaches people that they HAVE TO BE first fiddle
Rom 12:3 Living then, as every one of you does, in pure grace, it's important that you not misinterpret yourselves as people who are bringing this goodness to God. No, God brings it all to you. The only accurate way to understand ourselves is by what God is and by what he does for us, not by what we are and what we do for him.
Rom 12:1-2 Take your everyday, ordinary life — your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life — and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for him. 2 Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. …embracing what God does for you…
Rom 11:32 In one way or another, God makes sure that we all experience what it means to be outside so that he can personally open the door and welcome us back in. That’s why it’s stupid to judge others
Rom 11:24 Just be glad you're in the tree That’s all! Since God does the grafting in the first place, you can’t evaluate people’s current status-you don’t make the decisions in the first place OR the grafts! Just be glad that you are where you are
Rom 11:22 The moment you become deadwood, you're out of there. That’s why a life with God requires TOTAL ATTENTION! Because if not- you’re out of there!
Our lives with God are mimicked in gardening which is right in from of everyone!: dead seeds produce live plants which are nothing like the seeds; parts of plants can be grafted even though they didn’t originate there, etc.
Rom 9:15-16 God told Moses, "I'm in charge of mercy. I'm in charge of compassion." 16 Compassion doesn't originate in our bleeding hearts or moral sweat, but in God's mercy. Church people WILL tell you quite differently
Rom 9:11 What God did was perfectly plain that his purpose is not a hit-or-miss thing dependent on what we do or don't do, but a sure thing determined by his decision, flowing steadily from his initiative.
Rom 8:7-8 Focusing on the self is the opposite of focusing on God. Anyone completely absorbed in self ignores God, ends up thinking more about self than God. That person ignores who God is and what he is doing. 8 And God isn't pleased at being ignored.
13 years ago ALL EDUCATED HUMANS said that I would either die or be a vegetable but thanks to God that didn’t happen!
Rom 4:16 the fulfillment of God's promise depends entirely on trusting God and his way, and then simply embracing him and what he does. God's promise arrives as pure gift. That's the only way everyone can be sure to get in on it, those who keep the religious traditions and those who have never heard of them
Salvation IS NOT a business deal!
Rom 4:14 If those who get what God gives them only get it by doing everything they are told to do and filling out all the right forms properly signed, that eliminates personal trust completely and turns the promise into an ironclad contract! That's not a holy promise; that's a business deal.
Rom 4:14 If those who get what God gives them only get it by doing everything they are told to do and filling out all the right forms properly signed, that eliminates personal trust completely and turns the promise into an ironclad contract! That's not a holy promise; that's a business deal.
Rom 4:2-3 2 If Abraham, by what he did for God, got God to approve him, he could certainly have taken credit for it. But the story we're given is a God-story, not an Abraham-story. 3 What we read in Scripture is, "Abraham entered into what God was doing for him, and that was the turning point. He trusted God to set him right instead of trying to be right on his own."
Rom 3:31 by shifting our focus from what we do to what God does, don't we cancel out all our careful keeping of the rules and ways God commanded? Not at all. What happens, in fact, is that by putting that entire way of life in its proper place, we confirm it. Shifting our focus to something other than what we do is not promoted by society or normal for us
Rom 3:31 by shifting our focus from what we do to what God does, don't we cancel out all our careful keeping of the rules and ways God commanded? Not at all. What happens, in fact, is that by putting that entire way of life in its proper place, we confirm it.
Rom 3:30 God sets right all who welcome his action and enter into it, both those who follow our religious system and those who have never heard of our religion.
Rom 3:28 Our lives get in step with God and all others by letting him set the pace That's NOT what schools teach!
Rom 3:27 God does not respond to what we do; we respond to what God does Being a Christian is NOT a case like school where we follow curriculum and get a degree-it’s more than that!
Rom 3:27 God does not respond to what we do; we respond to what God does
Rom 2:17 don't assume that you can lean back in the arms of your religion and take it easy
Acts 23:8 8 Sadducees have nothing to do with a resurrection or angels or even a spirit. If they can't see it, they don't believe it
Acts 21:13 You're looking at this backwards. The issue in Jerusalem is not what they do to me, whether arrest or murder, but what the Master Jesus does through my obedience. …the issue is not that I live in a wheelchair but what the Master Jesus does through my obedience!
Acts 20:33 I've never, as you so well know, had any taste for wealth or fashion
Acts 20:24 What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.

I really like what I’m doing and I wouldn’t change a thing!
Making a lot of money WILL give you a very good life on this Earth-BUT it may not give you a good eternal life. Life on Earth has an end but eternal life has no end and I prefer to ensure my eternal life even though people won’t be happy but I will! And that's what matters to me
Making a lot of money WILL give you a very good life on this Earth-BUT it may not give you a good eternal life.
Normal gardening is God’s way to give humans a prelude to future physical resurrection! You plant a dead seed into the ground and what evolves from that is NOTHING like the dead seed! In like manner, a dead body is buried and at resurrection what comes from that dead buried body at resurrection will be nothing like the dead buried body. So we do have a prelude to resurrection but most people don’t see it…
Like the apostle Paul, what I convey when I write is not perfect, educated or fancy but it’s the word of God so it’s only up to God how you accept it
Acts 19:13-16 13 Some itinerant Jewish exorcists who happened to be in town at the time tried their hand at what they assumed to be Paul's "game." They pronounced the name of the Master Jesus over victims of evil spirits, saying, "I command you by the Jesus preached by Paul!" 14 The seven sons of a certain Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were trying to do this on a man 15 when the evil spirit talked back: "I know Jesus and I've heard of Paul, but who are you?" 16 Then the possessed man went berserk — jumped the exorcists, beat them up, and tore off their clothes It wasn’t “Paul’s” game, it was “God’s” game!
Acts 19:13-16 13 Some itinerant Jewish exorcists who happened to be in town at the time tried their hand at what they assumed to be Paul's "game." They pronounced the name of the Master Jesus over victims of evil spirits, saying, "I command you by the Jesus preached by Paul!" 14 The seven sons of a certain Sceva, a Jewish high priest, were trying to do this on a man 15 when the evil spirit talked back: "I know Jesus and I've heard of Paul, but who are you?" 16 Then the possessed man went berserk — jumped the exorcists, beat them up, and tore off their clothes
Acts 19:3-4 3 "How were you baptized, then?" asked Paul. "In John's baptism." 4 "That explains it," said Paul This still happens today!
Acts 18:25 he only went as far as the baptism of John be careful that this isn’t you!
Acts 17:30 God overlooks it as long as you don't know any better
Acts 16:25 25 Along about midnight, Paul and Silas were at prayer and singing a robust hymn to God …at prayer AND singing…
Acts 15:39 Tempers flared Yes, human tempers flared but that had zero effect on God’s message to humans! Human things don't affect God things!
Acts 15:1 It wasn't long before some Jews showed up from Judea insisting that everyone be circumcised: "If you're not circumcised in the Mosaic fashion, you can't be saved." Circumcision is a thing ONLY MALES can do to their physical body but faith is something that anyone can do with their hearts and everyone has a heart
Acts 14:27 they got the church together and reported on their trip, telling in detail how God had used them NOT on what they had done but how God had used them…
Acts 14:22 Anyone signing up for the kingdom of God has to go through plenty of hard times. It says this in the Bible but people don’t realize it…
Heaven is God’s kingdom and it is for eternity. People THINK that they’re going there because they’ve crossed their “t’s” and dotted their “i’s” but eternity isn’t a legal document where doing everything correctly will work-it’s God’s gift and He chooses people so read what He says!
When God healed people, He did it to display His glory and sometimes it worked but sometimes it didn’t but it was ALWAYS peoples choice and the fact that He let people choose on their own is a gift
Acts 13:10-11 10 "You bag of wind, you parody of a devil — why, you stay up nights inventing schemes to cheat people out of God. 11 But now you've come up against God himself, and your game is up. You're about to go blind — no sunlight for you for a good long stretch." He was plunged immediately into a shadowy mist and stumbled around, begging people to take his hand and show him the way. God was still active…
Acts 12:24 the ministry of God's Word grew by leaps and bounds. Regardless of what human’s were doing…
Acts 12:23 God had had enough of Herod's arrogance and sent an angel to strike him down

Saturday, May 25, 2013

Acts 11:16 16 I remembered Jesus' words: 'John baptized with water; you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit WOW! Baptism means much more than just getting wet!
Acts 10:34-35 God plays no favorites! 35 It makes no difference who you are or where you're from — if you want God and are ready to do as he says, the door is open
Acts 10:28 no race is better than any other
Acts 9:16 16 now I'm about to show him what he's in for — the hard suffering that goes with this job. It is not all “pretty” to follow God!
Acts 9:8 Saul, picking himself up off the ground, found himself stone blind Saul was blind because his society was blind to the ways of God
Acts 8:20 20 Peter said, "To hell with your money and you along with it. Why, that's unthinkable — trying to buy God's gift!” Many people do this today…
Acts 8:4 the Christians all became missionaries
Acts 5:29 It's necessary to obey God rather than men
Acts 4:13 13 They couldn't take their eyes off them — Peter and John standing there so confident, so sure of themselves! Their fascination deepened when they realized these two were laymen with no training in Scripture or formal education.
John 21:15-17 After breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, "Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these?" "Yes, Master, you know I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." 16 He then asked a second time, "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" "Yes, Master, you know I love you." Jesus said, "Shepherd my sheep." 17 Then he said it a third time: "Simon, son of John, do you love me?" Peter was upset that he asked for the third time, "Do you love me?" so he answered, "Master, you know everything there is to know. You've got to know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. That’s what I do and some will be benefited and some won’t be.
Jesus said this regarding His followers: John 17:16 16 They are no more defined by the world than I am defined by the world. The world didn’t like Him so it won’t like you either
Jesus said: John 14:13-14 13 From now on, whatever you request along the lines of who I am and what I am doing, I'll do it. That's how the Father will be seen for who he is in the Son. I mean it. 14 Whatever you request in this way, I'll do.
Jesus said: John 14:12 12 The person who trusts me will not only do what I'm doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I've been doing. which is what we do!
Jesus washing the feet of His disciples and telling them to do the same meant that they were to take the lowly job of meeting other’s needs and NOT to claim superiority over the needs of others even if those needs seemed below themselves. I have personally experienced this
John 12:31 Satan, the ruler of this world
John 11:47-48 47 The high priests and Pharisees called a meeting of the Jewish ruling body. "What do we do now?" they asked. "This man keeps on doing things, creating God-signs. 48 If we let him go on, pretty soon everyone will be believing in him and the Romans will come and remove what little power and privilege we still have." Humans ALWAYS are tied to what THEY have!
John 10:35 Scripture doesn't lie
John 10:12-13 12 A hired man is not a real shepherd. The sheep mean nothing to him. He sees a wolf come and runs for it, leaving the sheep to be ravaged and scattered by the wolf. 13 He's only in it for the money. The sheep don't matter to him.
John 9:31 31 It's well known that God isn't at the beck and call of sinners, but listens carefully to anyone who lives in reverence and does his will.
John 8:23 23 Jesus said, You're tied down to the mundane; I'm in touch with what is beyond your horizons. You live in terms of what you see and touch. I'm living on other terms. and you're His body so you're terms should be the same as His
John 8:14-16 Jesus replied, "You're right that you only have my word. But you can depend on it being true. I know where I've come from and where I go next. You don't know where I'm from or where I'm headed. 15 You decide according to what you can see and touch. I don't make judgments like that. 16 But even if I did, my judgment would be true because I wouldn't make it out of the narrowness of my experience but in the largeness of the One who sent me, the Father.
John 8:14-15 14 Jesus replied, "You're right that you only have my word. But you can depend on it being true. I know where I've come from and where I go next. You don't know where I'm from or where I'm headed. 15 You decide according to what you can see and touch. You decide according to what you can see and touch.
Heb 12:11 11 At the time, discipline isn't much fun. It always feels like it's going against the grain. Later, of course, it pays off handsomely, for it's the well-trained who find themselves mature in their relationship with God. I thought of this when I was going to sleep last night and I thought of it again this morning!

When I hear and see people who are announced every announcement is way greater than what was given to Jesus who created them!
John 7:14-15 With the Feast already half over, Jesus showed up in the Temple, teaching. 15 The Jews were impressed, but puzzled: "How does he know so much without being schooled?"
John 6:19-20 19 They were maybe three or four miles out when they saw Jesus walking on the sea, quite near the boat. They were scared senseless, 20 but he reassured them, "It's me. It's all right. Don't be afraid." So, seeing isn’t always believing…
John 5:44 44 How do you expect to get anywhere with God when you spend all your time jockeying for position with each other, ranking your rivals?
John 5:34 my purpose is not to get your vote, and not to appeal to mere human testimony. I'm speaking to you this way so that you will be saved This is my purpose too and that's why I post things
I’m not out to get my own way-I follow God’s orders only. If I was promoting myself and trying to make myself look good then I would fail but through God’s grace alone I succeed
Jesus was very quick to do things that made people’s lives on Earth better so there’s no question in my mind that He could heal me on Earth but my goal is for eternity so I can wait
God wrote the curriculum that I follow for life
John 4:50 50 Jesus simply replied, "Go home. Your son lives." Jesus was very quick to do things that made people lives on Earth good but people were still responsible for doing what needed to be done to make their eternal lives good
John 4:36 the Sower is arm in arm with the Harvester Jesus is the sower and God is the Harvester and we are the body of Christ so we are arm in arm with God the Father and Harvester
John 4:34 34 Jesus said, "The food that keeps me going is that I do the will of the One who sent me, finishing the work he started. I’m not Jesus and God did not send me but I do God’s work and agree with His will and I try to meet it by finishing the work He started!
Jesus clearly said: John 4:23 23 But the time is coming — it has, in fact, come — when what you're called will not matter and where you go to worship will not matter. So that eliminates denominationalism!
John 4:1-3 Jesus realized that the Pharisees were keeping count of the baptisms that he and John performed 2(although his disciples, not Jesus, did the actual baptizing). They had posted the score that Jesus was ahead, turning him and John into rivals in the eyes of the people. 3 So Jesus left the Judean countryside and went back to Galilee. If Jesus would not compete then why would you?
John 2:23-25 23 During the time he was in Jerusalem, those days of the Passover Feast, many people noticed the signs he was displaying and, seeing they pointed straight to God, entrusted their lives to him. 24 But Jesus didn't entrust his life to them. He knew them inside and out, knew how untrustworthy they were. 25 He didn't need any help in seeing right through them. Just saying that you believe in Jesus is not enough! He knows your heart! He made all of you!
John 1:9-13 9 The Life-Light was the real thing: Every person entering Life he brings into Light. 10 He was in the world, the world was there through him, and yet the world didn't even notice. 11 He came to his own people, but they didn't want him. 12 But whoever did want him, who believed he was who he claimed and would do what he said, He made to be their true selves, their child-of-God selves. 13 These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten. …These are the God-begotten, not blood-begotten, not flesh-begotten, not sex-begotten. Born again!
John 1:1-4 The Word was first, the Word present to God, God present to the Word. The Word was God, 2 in readiness for God from day one. 3 Everything was created through him; nothing — not one thing! — came into being without him. 4 What came into existence was Life, and the Life was Light to live by. The light-not the money or the rules!
Luke 22:27-30 I've taken my place among you as the one who serves. 28 And you've stuck with me through thick and thin. 29 Now I confer on you the royal authority my Father conferred on me 30 so you can eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and be strengthened as you take up responsibilities among the congregations of God's people.
Luke 22:27 I've taken my place among you as the one who serves And being Christ’s body, so have I
Luke 22:3 Satan entered Judas, the one called Iscariot
Luke 20:34-36 34 Jesus said, "Marriage is a major preoccupation here, 35 but not there. Those who are included in the resurrection of the dead will no longer be concerned with marriage 36 nor, of course, with death. They will have better things to think about, if you can believe it. All ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God.” READ THIS!
Luke 18:9-14 He told his next story to some who were complacently pleased with themselves over their moral performance and looked down their noses at the common people: 10 "Two men went up to the Temple to pray, one a Pharisee, the other a tax man. 11 The Pharisee posed and prayed like this: 'Oh, God, I thank you that I am not like other people — robbers, crooks, adulterers, or, heaven forbid, like this tax man. 12 I fast twice a week and tithe on all my income.' 13 "Meanwhile the tax man, slumped in the shadows, his face in his hands, not daring to look up, said, 'God, give mercy. Forgive me, a sinner.'" 14 Jesus commented, "This tax man, not the other, went home made right with God. If you walk around with your nose in the air, you're going to end up flat on your face, but if you're content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself." …you’ll become…

If you walk around with your nose in the air, you're going to end up flat on your face, but if you're content to be simply yourself, you will become more than yourself."
Luke 17:26-29 The time of the Son of Man will be just like the time of Noah — 27 everyone carrying on as usual, having a good time right up to the day Noah boarded the ship. They suspected nothing until the flood hit and swept everything away. 28 "It was the same in the time of Lot — the people carrying on, having a good time, business as usual 29 right up to the day Lot walked out of Sodom and a firestorm swept down and burned everything to a crisp.
Luke 16:19-31 "There once was a rich man, expensively dressed in the latest fashions, wasting his days in conspicuous consumption. 20 A poor man named Lazarus, covered with sores, had been dumped on his doorstep. 21 All he lived for was to get a meal from scraps off the rich man's table. His best friends were the dogs who came and licked his sores. 22 "Then he died, this poor man, and was taken up by the angels to the lap of Abraham. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In hell and in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham in the distance and Lazarus in his lap. 24 He called out, 'Father Abraham, mercy! Have mercy! Send Lazarus to dip his finger in water to cool my tongue. I'm in agony in this fire.' 25 "But Abraham said, 'Child, remember that in your lifetime you got the good things and Lazarus the bad things. It's not like that here. Here he's consoled and you're tormented. 26 Besides, in all these matters there is a huge chasm set between us so that no one can go from us to you even if he wanted to, nor can anyone cross over from you to us.' 27 "The rich man said, 'Then let me ask you, Father: Send him to the house of my father 28 where I have five brothers, so he can tell them the score and warn them so they won't end up here in this place of torment.' 29 "Abraham answered, 'They have Moses and the Prophets to tell them the score. Let them listen to them.' 30 "'I know, Father Abraham,' he said, 'but they're not listening. If someone came back to them from the dead, they would change their ways.' 31 "Abraham replied, 'If they won't listen to Moses and the Prophets, they're not going to be convinced by someone who rises from the dead.'" Jesus rose from the dead, so believe Him now before you’re in torment!
Luke 16:13 You can't serve both God and the Bank.
Luke 15:11-32 "There was once a man who had two sons. 12 The younger said to his father, 'Father, I want right now what's coming to me.' "So the father divided the property between them. 13 It wasn't long before the younger son packed his bags and left for a distant country. There, undisciplined and dissipated, he wasted everything he had. 14 After he had gone through all his money, there was a bad famine all through that country and he began to hurt. 15 He signed on with a citizen there who assigned him to his fields to slop the pigs. 16 He was so hungry he would have eaten the corncobs in the pig slop, but no one would give him any. 17 "That brought him to his senses. He said, 'All those farmhands working for my father sit down to three meals a day, and here I am starving to death. 18 I'm going back to my father. I'll say to him, Father, I've sinned against God, I've sinned before you; 19 I don't deserve to be called your son. Take me on as a hired hand.' 20 He got right up and went home to his father. "When he was still a long way off, his father saw him. His heart pounding, he ran out, embraced him, and kissed him. 21 The son started his speech: 'Father, I've sinned against God, I've sinned before you; I don't deserve to be called your son ever again.' 22 "But the father wasn't listening. He was calling to the servants, 'Quick. Bring a clean set of clothes and dress him. Put the family ring on his finger and sandals on his feet. 23 Then get a grain-fed heifer and roast it. We're going to feast! We're going to have a wonderful time! 24 My son is here — given up for dead and now alive! Given up for lost and now found!' And they began to have a wonderful time. 25 "All this time his older son was out in the field. When the day's work was done he came in. As he approached the house, he heard the music and dancing. 26 Calling over one of the houseboys, he asked what was going on. 27 He told him, 'Your brother came home. Your father has ordered a feast — barbecued beef! — because he has him home safe and sound.' 28 "The older brother stalked off in an angry sulk and refused to join in. His father came out and tried to talk to him, but he wouldn't listen. 29 The son said, 'Look how many years I've stayed here serving you, never giving you one moment of grief, but have you ever thrown a party for me and my friends? 30 Then this son of yours who has thrown away your money on whores shows up and you go all out with a feast!' 31 "His father said, 'Son, you don't understand. You're with me all the time, and everything that is mine is yours — 32 but this is a wonderful time, and we had to celebrate. This brother of yours was dead, and he's alive! He was lost, and he's found!'" I was dead and now I’m alive, I was lost but now I’m found!
Luke 15:1-7 By this time a lot of men and women of doubtful reputation were hanging around Jesus, listening intently. 2 The Pharisees and religion scholars were not pleased, not at all pleased. They growled, "He takes in sinners and eats meals with them, treating them like old friends." 3 Their grumbling triggered this story. 4 "Suppose one of you had a hundred sheep and lost one. Wouldn't you leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the lost one until you found it? 5 When found, you can be sure you would put it across your shoulders, rejoicing, 6 and when you got home call in your friends and neighbors, saying, 'Celebrate with me! I've found my lost sheep!' 7 Count on it — there's more joy in heaven over one sinner's rescued life than over ninety-nine good people in no need of rescue. I was a lost one and He found me
Jesus said” Luke 14:33 Simply put, if you're not willing to take what is dearest to you, whether plans or people, and kiss it good-bye, you can't be my disciple. Are you?
Luke 14:25-27 One day when large groups of people were walking along with him, Jesus turned and told them, 26 "Anyone who comes to me but refuses to let go of father, mother, spouse, children, brothers, sisters — yes, even one's own self! — can't be my disciple. 27 Anyone who won't shoulder his own cross and follow behind me can't be my disciple. So what does that mean: “shoulder his own cross”? Your cross is a place of disrespect and humiliation and not comfortable. The bottom place.
Luke 14:16-24 16 Jesus followed up. " there was once a man who threw a great dinner party and invited many. 17 When it was time for dinner, he sent out his servant to the invited guests, saying, 'Come on in; the food's on the table.' 18 "Then they all began to beg off, one after another making excuses. The first said, 'I bought a piece of property and need to look it over. Send my regrets.' 19 "Another said, 'I just bought five teams of oxen, and I really need to check them out. Send my regrets.' 20 "And yet another said, 'I just got married and need to get home to my wife.' 21 "The servant went back and told the master what had happened. He was outraged and told the servant, 'Quickly, get out into the city streets and alleys. Collect all who look like they need a square meal, all the misfits and homeless and wretched you can lay your hands on, and bring them here.' 22 "The servant reported back, 'Master, I did what you commanded — and there's still room.' 23 "The master said, 'Then go to the country roads. Whoever you find, drag them in. I want my house full! 24 Let me tell you, not one of those originally invited is going to get so much as a bite at my dinner party.'" Are YOU going to the dinner?
Luke 13:24 The way to life — to God! — is vigorous and requires your total attention. People don’t realize this but Heaven is God’s kingdom-not yours!
Luke 13:24-30 The way to life — to God! — is vigorous and requires your total attention. A lot of you are going to assume that you'll sit down to God's salvation banquet just because you've been hanging around the neighborhood all your lives. 25 Well, one day you're going to be banging on the door, wanting to get in, but you'll find the door locked and the Master saying, 'Sorry, you're not on my guest list.' 26 "You'll protest, 'But we've known you all our lives!' 27 only to be interrupted with his abrupt, 'Your kind of knowing can hardly be called knowing. You don't know the first thing about me.' 28 "That's when you'll find yourselves out in the cold, strangers to grace. You'll watch Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets march into God's kingdom. 29 You'll watch outsiders stream in from east, west, north, and south and sit down at the table of God's kingdom. And all the time you'll be outside looking in — and wondering what happened. 30 This is the Great Reversal: the last in line put at the head of the line, and the so-called first ending up last.
Luke 13:1-3 About that time some people came up and told him about the Galileans Pilate had killed while they were at worship, mixing their blood with the blood of the sacrifices on the altar. 2 Jesus responded, "Do you think those murdered Galileans were worse sinners than all other Galileans? 3 Not at all. Unless you turn to God, you too will die.

Jesus came to this Earth to teach human people about God and that is my task too!
Jesus said: Luke 12:15 Life is not defined by what you have, even when you have a lot.
Luke 12:10 If you bad-mouth the Son of Man out of misunderstanding or ignorance, that can be overlooked Faith in God is not a test! Mistakes on tests can’t be overlooked.
Luke 11:28 28 Jesus commented, "Even more blessed are those who hear God's Word and guard it with their lives
Jesus said: Luke 11:23 This is war, and there is no neutral ground
Luke 10:30-37 30 Jesus answered by telling a story. "There was once a man traveling from Jerusalem to Jericho. On the way he was attacked by robbers. They took his clothes, beat him up, and went off leaving him half-dead. 31 Luckily, a priest was on his way down the same road, but when he saw him he angled across to the other side. 32 Then a Levite religious man showed up; he also avoided the injured man. 33 "A Samaritan traveling the road came on him. When he saw the man's condition, his heart went out to him. 34 He gave him first aid, disinfecting and bandaging his wounds. Then he lifted him onto his donkey, led him to an inn, and made him comfortable. 35 In the morning he took out two silver coins and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, 'Take good care of him. If it costs any more, put it on my bill — I'll pay you on my way back.' 36 "What do you think? Which of the three became a neighbor to the man attacked by robbers?" 37 "The one who treated him kindly," the religion scholar responded. Jesus said, "Go and do the same."
Luke 10:9 God's kingdom is right on your doorstep!
Luke 9:49-50 49 John spoke up, "Master, we saw a man using your name to expel demons and we stopped him because he wasn't of our group." 50 Jesus said, "Don't stop him. If he's not an enemy, he's an ally." Denominationalism
Jesus said: Luke 9:48 You become great by accepting, not asserting.
Luke 9:22-24 Jesus went on, "It is necessary that the Son of Man proceed to an ordeal of suffering, be tried and found guilty by the religious leaders, high priests, and religion scholars, be killed, and on the third day be raised up alive." 23 Then he told them what they could expect for themselves: "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat — I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how. 24 Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self.
Jesus said: Luke 7:22 The wretched of the earth have God's salvation hospitality extended to them.
Jesus said: Luke 6:47 47 These words I speak to you are not mere additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundation words, words to build a life on. …to build a life on, NOT TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR!
Luke 6:40 40 An apprentice doesn't lecture the master. The point is to be careful who you follow as your teacher.
Luke 6:38 Give away your life; you'll find life given back, but not merely given back — given back with bonus and blessing That’s what Jesus did and you are His body!
Luke 6:35-36 Live out this God-created identity the way our Father lives toward us, generously and graciously, even when we're at our worst. 36 Our Father is kind; you be kind.
Luke 6:31 Here is a simple rule of thumb for behavior: Ask yourself what you want people to do for you; then grab the initiative and do it for them!
Jesus said: Luke 6:20-26 You're blessed when you've lost it all. God's kingdom is there for the finding. 21 You're blessed when you're ravenously hungry. Then you're ready for the Messianic meal. You're blessed when the tears flow freely. Joy comes with the morning. 22 "Count yourself blessed every time someone cuts you down or throws you out, every time someone smears or blackens your name to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and that that person is uncomfortable Luke 6:24-26 But it's trouble ahead if you think you have it made. What you have is all you'll ever get. 25 And it's trouble ahead if you're satisfied with yourself. Your self will not satisfy you for long. And it's trouble ahead if you think life's all fun and games. There's suffering to be met, and you're going to meet it. 26 "There's trouble ahead when you live only for the approval of others, saying what flatters them, doing what indulges them. Popularity contests are not truth contests
The Pharisees and Religion Scholars were ALWAYS upset with Jesus and trying to catch Him at something in the Bible and be aware, they have different names now but they’re still out there today!
Jesus said: Luke 5:14 Your cleansed and obedient life, not your words, will bear witness to what I have done. This is difficult for a human because humans ALWAYS want to use words to show anything!
Luke 5:10 Jesus said, "From now on you'll be fishing for men and women." Our job description…
Luke 5:3 Sitting there, using the boat for a pulpit, he taught the crowd. Jesus used a boat and I use the internet to do the same thing
Jesus said: Luke 4:43 I have to tell the Message of God's kingdom, that this is the work God sent me to do. this was Jesus' job description and so it MUST be ours too!
Luke 4:40 40 When the sun went down, everyone who had anyone sick with some ailment or other brought them to him. One by one he placed his hands on them and healed them. What happens in this life on Earth is not important but what happens in our next life is!
Luke 4:37 Jesus was the talk of the town. Being the talk of the town is not going to matter with God or get you into His kingdom. It’s your life, not your reputation that matters
Luke 4:28-30 8 That set everyone in the meeting place seething with anger. 29 They threw him out, banishing him from the village, then took him to a mountain cliff at the edge of the village to throw him to his doom, 30 but he gave them the slip and was on his way. What Jesus had to say made people angry and as Jesus’ body what you have to say will make people angry too! Remember, this is war!
Luke 4:28-30 8 That set everyone in the meeting place seething with anger. 29 They threw him out, banishing him from the village, then took him to a mountain cliff at the edge of the village to throw him to his doom, 30 but he gave them the slip and was on his way. What Jesus had to say made people angry and as Jesus’ body what you have to say will make people angry too
John said this regarding baptism but it’s not taught: Luke 3:8 8 It's your life that must change, not your skin!
Luke 3:7 7 When crowds of people came out for baptism because it was the popular thing to do, John exploded It’s not OK to become a Christian because it’s popular
Luke 2:49 49 He said, "Why were you looking for me? Didn't you know that I had to be here, dealing with the things of my Father?" As Jesus’ body we should be doing the same thing
Luke 2:37 She never left the Temple area, worshiping night and day We are now the temple
Luke 2:22-24 22 Then when the days stipulated by Moses for purification were complete, they took him up to Jerusalem to offer him to God 23 as commanded in God's Law: "Every male who opens the womb shall be a holy offering to God," 24 and also to sacrifice the "pair of doves or two young pigeons" prescribed in God's Law. Regardless of anything else, Mary & Joseph followed God’s law.
Luke 2:15-18 5 As the angel choir withdrew into heaven, the sheepherders talked it over. "Let's get over to Bethlehem as fast as we can and see for ourselves what God has revealed to us." 16 They left, running, and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in the manger. 17 Seeing was believing. They told everyone they met what the angels had said about this child. 18 All who heard the sheepherders were impressed. The sheepherders in Jesus time were preachers!
Luke 2:14 4 Glory to God in the heavenly heights, Peace to all men and women on earth who please him. There is a cost for that peace…we have to please God.
Luke 2:8-12 There were sheepherders camping in the neighborhood. They had set night watches over their sheep. 9 Suddenly, God's angel stood among them and God's glory blazed around them. They were terrified. 10 The angel said, "Don't be afraid. I'm here to announce a great and joyful event that is meant for everybody, worldwide: 11 A Savior has just been born in David's town, a Savior who is Messiah and Master. 12 This is what you're to look for: a baby wrapped in a blanket and lying in a manger." Angels coming to shepherds and announcing the birth of Jesus…the great reversal
Luke 2:7 Mary gave birth to a son, her firstborn. She wrapped him in a blanket and laid him in a manger, because there was no room in the hostel. God born as a human in a barn and laid in a manger…the great reversal
Luke 2:5 Joseph went with Mary, his fiancée, who was pregnant.
Luke 1:53 53 The starving poor sat down to a banquet The great reversal
Luke 1:38 I'm the Lord's maid, ready to serve. Mary, a human, said this and so should we.
Luke 1:34 34 Mary said to the angel, "But how? I've never slept with a man." A miracle!
Luke 1:7 7 But they were childless because Elizabeth could never conceive, and now they were quite old. Obviously John was a miracle!
The son of God came from Heaven to Earth and was born to an unmarried virgin in a barn in a town that was far away to serve those that He had created but they didn’t know Him and we killed Him. We are His body on Earth, and although we will not have to ultimately go through what He went through as His body we are still servants to other human beings for God the Father.

Before He was crucified Jesus prayed to the Father: “not my will but yours be done”
Mark 13:20 because of God's chosen people, those he personally chose, he has already intervened. …He has already intervened (to the world this hadn’t happened yet)
Mark 13:9 You're placed there as sentinels to truth. That is why I do what I do
Mark 12:18-25 Some Sadducees, the party that denies any possibility of resurrection, came up and asked, 19 "Teacher, Moses wrote that if a man dies and leaves a wife but no child, his brother is obligated to marry the widow and have children. 20 Well, there once were seven brothers. The first took a wife. He died childless. 21 The second married her. He died, and still no child. The same with the third. 22 All seven took their turn, but no child. Finally the wife died. 23 When they are raised at the resurrection, whose wife is she? All seven were her husband." 24 Jesus said, "You're way off base, and here's why: One, you don't know your Bibles; two, you don't know how God works. 25 After the dead are raised up, we're past the marriage business. As it is with angels now, all our ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God.
Mark 12:1-9 Then Jesus started telling them stories. "A man planted a vineyard. He fenced it, dug a winepress, erected a watchtower, turned it over to the farmhands, and went off on a trip. 2 At the time for harvest, he sent a servant back to the farmhands to collect his profits. 3 "They grabbed him, beat him up, and sent him off empty-handed. 4 So he sent another servant. That one they tarred and feathered. 5 He sent another and that one they killed. And on and on, many others. Some they beat up, some they killed. 6 "Finally there was only one left: a beloved son. In a last-ditch effort, he sent him, thinking, 'Surely they will respect my son.' 7 "But those farmhands saw their chance. They rubbed their hands together in greed and said, 'This is the heir! Let's kill him and have it all for ourselves.' 8 They grabbed him, killed him, and threw him over the fence. 9 "What do you think the owner of the vineyard will do? Right. He'll come and clean house. Then he'll assign the care of the vineyard to others. God is the farmer and He made the world. He sent His servants and the world killed them so He sent His son and they killed Him.
Jesus said: Mark 10:43-45 Whoever wants to be great must become a servant. 44 Whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave. 45 That is what the Son of Man has done: He came to serve, not to be served — and then to give away his life in exchange for many who are held hostage. Do we know that we are held hostage? NO! But the son of God said we are and that's why He came to Earth!
Mark 10:40 Jesus said, “as to awarding places of honor, that's not my business." Since awarding places of honor is not up to Jesus then you’d better be making God the Father happy since it is His kingdom!
Mark 10:21 21 Jesus looked him hard in the eye — and loved him! He said, "There's one thing left: Go sell whatever you own and give it to the poor. All your wealth will then be heavenly wealth. Most people see no value in heavenly wealth but I do and you should too
Jesus said: Mark 10:15 Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in
Mark 10:11-12 11 Jesus gave it to them straight: "A man who divorces his wife so he can marry someone else commits adultery against her. 12 And a woman who divorces her husband so she can marry someone else commits adultery." To “marry” someone else simply means to have sexual intercourse with them, therefore some cooking networks use the term “marry” to imply the combination of ingredients so that is an improper usage of the term
Mark 10:11-12 11 Jesus gave it to them straight: "A man who divorces his wife so he can marry someone else commits adultery against her. 12 And a woman who divorces her husband so she can marry someone else commits adultery." To “marry” someone else simply means to have sexual intercourse with them
Jesus said Mark 9:49-50 Everyone's going through a refining fire sooner or later, 50 but you'll be well-preserved, protected from the eternal flames. I’m going through the refining fire. It’s not easy but it beats eternal flames!
Mark 9:43 You're better off maimed or lame and alive than the proud owner of two hands and two feet, godless in a furnace of eternal fire I may have no balance but I’m better off!
Mark 9:31 Jesus wanted to teach his disciples
Mark 9:28-29 After arriving back home, his disciples cornered Jesus and asked, "Why couldn't we throw the demon out?" 29 He answered, "There is no way to get rid of this kind of demon except by prayer." Prayer means that you ask God to do it as opposed to you thinking that you can do it
Mark 9:23 23 Jesus said, "If? There are no 'ifs' among believers. Anything can happen." A believer is someone who has faith
Jesus said: Mark 8:38 "If any of you are embarrassed over me and the way I'm leading you when you get around your fickle and unfocused friends, know that you'll be an even greater embarrassment to the Son of Man when he arrives in all the splendor of God, his Father, with an army of the holy angels."
Mark 8:34 34 Calling the crowd to join his disciples, Jesus said, "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. Don't run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I'll show you how. Not being in the driver’s seat is difficult for humans to accept
Mark 8:13-21 He then left them, got back in the boat, and headed for the other side. 14 But the disciples forgot to pack a lunch. Except for a single loaf of bread, there wasn't a crumb in the boat. 15 Jesus warned, "Be very careful. Keep a sharp eye out for the contaminating yeast of Pharisees and the followers of Herod." 16 Meanwhile, the disciples were finding fault with each other because they had forgotten to bring bread. 17 Jesus overheard and said, "Why are you fussing because you forgot bread? Don't you see the point of all this? Don't you get it at all? 19 Remember the five loaves I broke for the five thousand? How many baskets of leftovers did you pick up?" They said, "Twelve." 20 "And the seven loaves for the four thousand — how many bags full of leftovers did you get?" "Seven." 21 He said, "Do you still not get it?" Jesus was teaching the disciples about faith. We need to learn and apply this too!
Prior to the year 2000 I was very much like you! I’ve been to college and I have a degree! I was an executive for the world’s airlines and I have traveled all over the world! I had it all but now I have even more. My education now comes from God’s word and I’ll NEVER graduate from that! I spend 6 hours per day-EVERY DAY working for God to bring Him glory and I read the entire world! I have 3 BLOGS and thousands of posts. The key thing to remember is that God created human beings to bring Him glory and if we want to live eternally in His kingdom then we have to bring Him glory during our lives n Earth. Let’s talk about God: We can start with the feeding of the children of Israel from nowhere then we can go to the feeding of the 5,000 with nothing to begin with, so God is much more than we can see-that’s called faith and to live eternally with God, we need that.
Let’s start with the feeding of the children of Israel from nowhere then we can go to the feeding of the 5,000 with nothing to begin with, so God is much more than we can see-that’s called faith
Mark 4:35-39 Late that day he said to them, "Let's go across to the other side." 36 They took him in the boat as he was. Other boats came along. 37 A huge storm came up. Waves poured into the boat, threatening to sink it. 38 And Jesus was in the stern, head on a pillow, sleeping! They roused him, saying, "Teacher, is it nothing to you that we're going down?" 39 Awake now, he told the wind to pipe down and said to the sea, "Quiet! Settle down!" The wind ran out of breath; the sea became smooth as glass. This is an example from the Bible. What they could see was that they were going to sink but what God did was turn what they could see into something very good.
Mark 4:30-32 30 "How can we picture God's kingdom? What kind of story can we use? 31 It's like a pine nut. When it lands on the ground it is quite small as seeds go, 32 yet once it is planted it grows into a huge pine tree with thick branches. Eagles nest in it." So if we can wait for God to do things then He will bring us all o the glory that we desire but we have to wait and that’s not easy for people to do!
The very first sin by human beings had to do with eye candy: The fruit on the tree looked so good to Eve that even though God had said: “don’t eat that!” she wanted it and that problem is still very much alive today among humans. The apostles were humans too and so Jesus had to teach them too! Nothing is impossible with God but for human beings seeing is believing! But seeing just eliminates what God can do. The fact that I am alive today despite what every human has said is proof of what God can do!
Mark 3:8 swarms of people who had heard the reports and had come to see for themselves
Mark 3:2 2 The Pharisees had their eyes on Jesus to see if he would heal him, hoping to catch him in a Sabbath infraction Being able to “see” something being done is of super importance to people but the things of God can’t be seen
God clearly says in Hebrews 11:1 that faith is based on what you can’t see but the saying among human beings is: Seeing is believing which is not faith

One thing that I tried to get across tonight is that society has and teaches that there are acceptable standards for everything but as a 54 year old man and believer in God I can say that isn’t true! It isn’t true because the people who define and make those standards are not believers in what God can do! God can make things however He wants which defy human standards! Case in point: I was told to leave therapy and not come back because I could not do what they wanted me to do, in other words: I couldn’t meet the acceptable standards!
Human beings have TRIED to become like God using words and positions that they THINK works well on Earth based on how humans react to it but only really works only with God. Hmm, sounds just like Satan with Adam & Eve…
What I see is that human beings spend a lot of time comparing things that they are able to see. Obviously visual impact is VERY LARGE with human beings which is a huge shame because the things of God can’t be seen! To expect ONLY what can be seen is an elimination of God and is limited to what can be seen which is only done by humans.
Mark 2:15-17 15 Later Jesus and his disciples were at home having supper with a collection of disreputable guests. Unlikely as it seems, more than a few of them had become followers. 16 The religion scholars and Pharisees saw him keeping this kind of company and lit into his disciples: "What kind of example is this, acting cozy with the riff-raff?" 17 Jesus, overhearing, shot back, "Who needs a doctor: the healthy or the sick? I'm here inviting the sin-sick, not the spiritually-fit." This particular scripture is very meaningful to me because though a firm believer I was a disreputable guest like these people. So it's the heart not the reputation that counts!
When Jesus healed people He was only healing what they could see here and now. His physical healing was not eternal life
Since Jesus often said: God’s kingdom is here” and since I am Christ’s body then I can tell you that God’s kingdom is here (not that it will get me anywhere with you)
Mark 1:22 22 They were surprised at his teaching ALL I POST IS THE BIBLE BUT PEOPLE ARE SURPRISED BY MY POSTS!
Mark 1:17 Jesus said to them, "Come with me. I'll make a new kind of fisherman out of you. I'll show you how to catch men and women” Jesus does the same thing for us!
Matt 26:62-63 The Chief Priest stood up and said, "What do you have to say to the accusation?" 63 Jesus kept silent. This silence was prophesied about…
What’s Heaven like?: Matt 25:14-30 "It's also like a man going off on an extended trip. He called his servants together and delegated responsibilities. 15 To one he gave five thousand dollars, to another two thousand, to a third one thousand, depending on their abilities. Then he left. 16 Right off, the first servant went to work and doubled his master's investment. 17 The second did the same. 18 But the man with the single thousand dug a hole and carefully buried his master's money. 19 "After a long absence, the master of those three servants came back and settled up with them. 20 The one given five thousand dollars showed him how he had doubled his investment. 21 His master commended him: 'Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.' 22 "The servant with the two thousand showed how he also had doubled his master's investment. 23 His master commended him: 'Good work! You did your job well. From now on be my partner.' 24 "The servant given one thousand said, 'Master, I know you have high standards and hate careless ways, that you demand the best and make no allowances for error. 25 I was afraid I might disappoint you, so I found a good hiding place and secured your money. Here it is, safe and sound down to the last cent.' 26 "The master was furious. 'That's a terrible way to live! It's criminal to live cautiously like that! If you knew I was after the best, why did you do less than the least? 27 The least you could have done would have been to invest the sum with the bankers, where at least I would have gotten a little interest. 28 "'Take the thousand and give it to the one who risked the most. And get rid of this "play-it-safe" who won't go out on a limb. 30 Throw him out into utter darkness.'
If you want to spend eternity in God’s kingdom then you have to do more than comply with tradition like traditionally going to Church! God is your Father AND your teacher, so read & follow His word. By doing that and not following the world AND submitting to Him you’ll become His servant awaiting His arrival
Matt 25:1-13 "God's kingdom is like ten young virgins who took oil lamps and went out to greet the bridegroom. 2 Five were silly and five were smart. 3 The silly virgins took lamps, but no extra oil. 4 The smart virgins took jars of oil to feed their lamps. 5 The bridegroom didn't show up when they expected him, and they all fell asleep. 6 "In the middle of the night someone yelled out, 'He's here! The bridegroom's here! Go out and greet him!' 7 "The ten virgins got up and got their lamps ready. 8 The silly virgins said to the smart ones, 'Our lamps are going out; lend us some of your oil.' 9 "They answered, 'There might not be enough to go around; go buy your own.' 10 "They did, but while they were out buying oil, the bridegroom arrived. When everyone who was there to greet him had gone into the wedding feast, the door was locked. 11 "Much later, the other virgins, the silly ones, showed up and knocked on the door, saying, 'Master, we're here. Let us in.' 12 "He answered, 'Do I know you? I don't think I know you.' 13 "So stay alert. You have no idea when he might arrive.
Jesus said: Matt 24:35 Sky and earth will wear out; my words won't wear out.
Jesus said: Matt 23:11 11 "Do you want to stand out? Then step down. Be a servant. Jesus was God the Father’s servant and we are His body on Earth. He stepped down-way down to come to Earth to be God the Father’s servant so as His body here we must be God the Father’s servant too!
Matt 23:10 don't let people maneuver you into taking charge of them. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them — Christ. Christ is your life leader!
Matt 23:10 don't let people maneuver you into taking charge of them. There is only one Life-Leader for you and them — Christ.
Matt 23:9 No one else should carry the title of 'Father'; you have only one Father, and he's in heaven.
We are Christ’s body on the Earth. Christ came to the Earth and lived so as His body, we have to live on Earth just as Christ did.
Jesus said: Matt 23:8 You all have a single Teacher, and you are all classmates.
Matt 23:1-3 Now Jesus turned to address his disciples, along with the crowd that had gathered with them. 2 "The religion scholars and Pharisees are competent teachers in God's Law. 3 You won't go wrong in following their teachings on Moses. But be careful about following them. They talk a good line, but they don't live it. They don't take it into their hearts and live it out in their behavior. It's all spit-and-polish veneer. Hmm, this sounds like religious people… Competent teachers but they don't know God's word!
Matt 22:36-40 36 "Teacher, which command in God's Law is the most important?" 37 Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.' 38 This is the most important, the first on any list. 39 But there is a second to set alongside it: 'Love others as well as you love yourself.' 40 These two commands are pegs; everything in God's Law and the Prophets hangs from them."
Matt 22:30 30 At the resurrection we're beyond marriage. As with the angels, all our ecstasies and intimacies then will be with God. Many humans don’t expect this…
Matt 22:1-14 Jesus responded by telling still more stories. 2 "God's kingdom," he said, "is like a king who threw a wedding banquet for his son. 3 He sent out servants to call in all the invited guests. And they wouldn't come! 4 "He sent out another round of servants, instructing them to tell the guests, 'Look, everything is on the table, the prime rib is ready for carving. Come to the feast!' 5 "They only shrugged their shoulders and went off, one to weed his garden, another to work in his shop. 6 The rest, with nothing better to do, beat up on the messengers and then killed them. 7 The king was outraged and sent his soldiers to destroy those thugs and level their city. 8 "Then he told his servants, 'We have a wedding banquet all prepared but no guests. The ones I invited weren't up to it. 9 Go out into the busiest intersections in town and invite anyone you find to the banquet.' 10 The servants went out on the streets and rounded up everyone they laid eyes on, good and bad, regardless. And so the banquet was on — every place filled. 11 "When the king entered and looked over the scene, he spotted a man who wasn't properly dressed. 12 He said to him, 'Friend, how dare you come in here looking like that!' The man was speechless. 13 Then the king told his servants, 'Get him out of here — fast. Tie him up and ship him to hell. And make sure he doesn't get back in.' 14 "That's what I mean when I say, 'Many get invited; only a few make it.'" God’s kingdom will never end so to enter it you must be fully dedicated to Him
Matt 21:33-42 "Here's another story. Listen closely. There was once a man, a wealthy farmer, who planted a vineyard. He fenced it, dug a winepress, put up a watchtower, then turned it over to the farmhands and went off on a trip. 34 When it was time to harvest the grapes, he sent his servants back to collect his profits. 35 "The farmhands grabbed the first servant and beat him up. The next one they murdered. They threw stones at the third but he got away. 36 The owner tried again, sending more servants. They got the same treatment. 37 The owner was at the end of his rope. He decided to send his son. 'Surely,' he thought, 'they will respect my son.' 38 "But when the farmhands saw the son arrive, they rubbed their hands in greed. 'This is the heir! Let's kill him and have it all for ourselves.' 39 They grabbed him, threw him out, and killed him. 40 "Now, when the owner of the vineyard arrives home from his trip, what do you think he will do to the farmhands?" 41 "He'll kill them — a rotten bunch, and good riddance," they answered. "Then he'll assign the vineyard to farmhands who will hand over the profits when it's time." 42 Jesus said, "Right”
Jesus said: Matt 21:28-32 "Tell me what you think of this story: A man had two sons. He went up to the first and said, 'Son, go out for the day and work in the vineyard.' 29 "The son answered, 'I don't want to.' Later on he thought better of it and went. 30 "The father gave the same command to the second son. He answered, 'Sure, glad to.' But he never went. 31 "Which of the two sons did what the father asked?" They said, "The first." Jesus said, "Yes, and I tell you that crooks and whores are going to precede you into God's kingdom. 32 John came to you showing you the right road. You turned up your noses at him, but the crooks and whores believed him. Even when you saw their changed lives, you didn't care enough to change and believe him. God’s kingdom is not going to be what you expect. Remember: it’s HIS kingdom for eternity-not yours!
Matt 20:23 23 Jesus said, "Come to think of it, you are going to drink my cup. But as to awarding places of honor, that's not my business. My Father is taking care of that." Then why do human’s THINK that they can do this?
Matt 20:1-16 "God's kingdom is like an estate manager who went out early in the morning to hire workers for his vineyard. 2 They agreed on a wage of a dollar a day, and went to work. 3 "Later, about nine o'clock, the manager saw some other men hanging around the town square unemployed. 4 He told them to go to work in his vineyard and he would pay them a fair wage. 5 They went. "He did the same thing at noon, and again at three o'clock. 6 At five o'clock he went back and found still others standing around. He said, 'Why are you standing around all day doing nothing?' 7 "They said, 'Because no one hired us.' "He told them to go to work in his vineyard. 8 "When the day's work was over, the owner of the vineyard instructed his foreman, 'Call the workers in and pay them their wages. Start with the last hired and go on to the first.' 9 "Those hired at five o'clock came up and were each given a dollar. 10 When those who were hired first saw that, they assumed they would get far more. But they got the same, each of them one dollar. 11 Taking the dollar, they groused angrily to the manager, 12'These last workers put in only one easy hour, and you just made them equal to us, who slaved all day under a scorching sun.' 13 "He replied to the one speaking for the rest, 'Friend, I haven't been unfair. We agreed on the wage of a dollar, didn't we? 14 So take it and go. I decided to give to the one who came last the same as you. 15 Can't I do what I want with my own money? Are you going to get stingy because I am generous?' 16 "Here it is again, the Great Reversal: many of the first ending up last, and the last first."
Matt 19:28-30 In the re-creation of the world, when the Son of Man will rule gloriously, you who have followed me will also rule, starting with the twelve tribes of Israel. 29 And not only you, but anyone who sacrifices home, family, fields — whatever — because of me will get it all back a hundred times over, not to mention the considerable bonus of eternal life. 30 This is the Great Reversal: many of the first ending up last, and the last first.
Matt 19:21 21 "If you want to give it all you've got," Jesus replied, "go sell your possessions; give everything to the poor. All your wealth will then be in heaven. In our society this is not popular or even thought of
Matt 18:23-35 23 "The kingdom of God is like a king who decided to square accounts with his servants. 24 As he got under way, one servant was brought before him who had run up a debt of a hundred thousand dollars. 25 He couldn't pay up, so the king ordered the man, along with his wife, children, and goods, to be auctioned off at the slave market. 26 "The poor wretch threw himself at the king's feet and begged, 'Give me a chance and I'll pay it all back.' 27 Touched by his plea, the king let him off, erasing the debt. 28 "The servant was no sooner out of the room when he came upon one of his fellow servants who owed him ten dollars. He seized him by the throat and demanded, 'Pay up. Now!' 29 "The poor wretch threw himself down and begged, 'Give me a chance and I'll pay it all back.' 30 But he wouldn't do it. He had him arrested and put in jail until the debt was paid. 31 When the other servants saw this going on, they were outraged and brought a detailed report to the king. 32 "The king summoned the man and said, 'You evil servant! I forgave your entire debt when you begged me for mercy. 33 Shouldn't you be compelled to be merciful to your fellow servant who asked for mercy?' 34 The king was furious and put the screws to the man until he paid back his entire debt. 35 And that's exactly what my Father in heaven is going to do to each one of you who doesn't forgive unconditionally anyone who asks for mercy."
Jesus said: Matt 18:18 Take this most seriously: A yes on earth is yes in heaven; a no on earth is no in heaven. What you say to one another is eternal
Matt 18:17 If he won't listen to the church, you'll have to start over from scratch, confront him with the need for repentance, and offer again God's forgiving love. Churches don’t offer God's forgiving love they only withdraw…
Matt 18:1-4 At about the same time, the disciples came to Jesus asking, "Who gets the highest rank in God's kingdom?" 2 For an answer Jesus called over a child, whom he stood in the middle of the room, 3 and said, "I'm telling you, once and for all, that unless you return to square one and start over like children, you're not even going to get a look at the kingdom, let alone get in. 4 Whoever becomes simple and elemental again, like this child, will rank high in God's kingdom. What does a child do? They trust their parent! So trust your Father!
Matt 17:19-20 19 When the disciples had Jesus off to themselves, they asked, "Why couldn't we throw it out?" 20 "Because you're not yet taking God seriously," said Jesus. What you try to make happen means nothing but what will happen is what God wants! Take Him seriously!
Matt 16:24 24 Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. "Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You're not in the driver's seat; I am. And YOU are a disciple of Christ so you’re not in the driver’s seat-He is!
Matt 16:16-17 16 Simon Peter said, "You're the Christ, the Messiah, the Son of the living God." 17 Jesus came back, "God bless you, Simon, son of Jonah! You didn't get that answer out of books or from teachers. My Father in heaven, God himself, let you in on this secret of who I really am. See? It’s not from school but from God!
Matt 15:8-9 8 These people make a big show of saying the right thing, but their heart isn't in it. 9 They act like they're worshiping me, but they don't mean it. They just use me as a cover for teaching whatever suits their fancy. This could be religious people
Matt 15:1 Pharisees and religion scholars came to Jesus all the way from Jerusalem, criticizing I always read this in the New Testament
I read online that 13 years ago, I was found in Seattle with my face in the dirt, bleeding from both ears and in a coma, so did God take care of me? Obviously!

Matt 14:29-30 Peter walked on the water to Jesus. 30 But when he looked down at the waves churning beneath his feet, he lost his nerve and started to sink. This happened to teach us about faith. Things may look scary but God is God regardless
Matt 14:21 21 About five thousand were fed. Can you even imagine how much food it took to feed this many people? Nothing is impossible with God!
Jesus said: Matt 12:31 There's nothing done or said that can't be forgiven So this is not a test because things aren’t forgiven on tests!
Matt 12:6 There is far more at stake here than religion …so religion is not everything!
Matt 11:27 27 Jesus resumed talking to the people, but now tenderly. "The Father has given me all these things to do and say. This is a unique Father-Son operation, coming out of Father and Son intimacies and knowledge. So if we follow Jesus then we get that knowledge too
Matt 11:25 25 Abruptly Jesus broke into prayer: "Thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth. You've concealed your ways from sophisticates and know-it-alls, but spelled them out clearly to ordinary people.” …ordinary people…
Matt 11:5 The lame walk
Jesus said: Matt 10:32 Stand up for me against world opinion and I'll stand up for you before my Father in heaven
Matt 10:25 If they call me, the Master, 'Dungface,' what can the workers expect? There will be no prominence among people for believers
Matt 7:21-23 Knowing the correct password — saying 'Master, Master,' for instance — isn't going to get you anywhere with me. What is required is serious obedience — doing what my Father wills. 22 I can see it now — at the Final Judgment thousands strutting up to me and saying, 'Master, we preached the Message, we bashed the demons, our God-sponsored projects had everyone talking.' 23 And do you know what I am going to say? 'You missed the boat. All you did was use me to make yourselves important. You don't impress me one bit. You're out of here.' I really don’t want for this to happen to me!

Jesus said: Matt 5:3-12 3 "You're blessed when you're at the end of your rope. With less of you there is more of God and his rule. 4 "You're blessed when you feel you've lost what is most dear to you. Only then can you be embraced by the One most dear to you. 5 "You're blessed when you're content with just who you are — no more, no less. That's the moment you find yourselves proud owners of everything that can't be bought. 6 "You're blessed when you've worked up a good appetite for God. He's food and drink in the best meal you'll ever eat. 7 "You're blessed when you care. At the moment of being 'carefull,' you find yourselves cared for. 8 "You're blessed when you get your inside world — your mind and heart — put right. Then you can see God in the outside world. 9 "You're blessed when you can show people how to cooperate instead of compete or fight. That's when you discover who you really are, and your place in God's family. 10 "You're blessed when your commitment to God provokes persecution. The persecution drives you even deeper into God's kingdom. 11 "Not only that — count yourselves blessed every time people put you down or throw you out or speak lies about you to discredit me. What it means is that the truth is too close for comfort and they are uncomfortable. 12 You can be glad when that happens — give a cheer, even! — for though they don't like it, I do! And all heaven applauds. And know that you are in good company. My prophets and witnesses have always gotten into this kind of trouble.

Human beings tend to say: “my reputation is on the line” when they attempt to do things but whether or not they accomplish what they’re trying to do is NOT their will-it’s God’s will!
I NEVER thought that I’d be as I am today, but I have to remember IT’S NOT my plan-it’s God’s plan!
Human abilities to humans alone are amazing but because God gave each person their abilities and He knows each person’s entire lives BEFORE they are born their abilities are not amazing to Him!
Zech 10:2 Religious experts spout rubbish.
Zech 9:9 Your king is coming! a good king who makes all things right, a humble king riding a donkey, a mere colt of a donkey. JESUS!
Zech 8:8-9 A Message from GOD-of-the-Angel-Armies: 9 "Get a grip on things. Hold tight, you who are listening to what I say through the preaching of the prophets.

He's happy! 16 He praises his rod and reel, piles his fishing gear on an altar and worships it! It's made his day, and he's going to eat well tonight! This is what happens when people get what they want in life…
This was said to God: Hab 1:14 14 You're treating men and women as so many fish in the ocean, Swimming without direction, swimming but not getting anywhere. Hmm, it sounds just like the original Israelites who were sent back to the wilderness…

Mic 6:8 he's already made it plain how to live, what to do, what GOD is looking for in men and women. It's quite simple: Do what is fair and just to your neighbor, be compassionate and loyal in your love, And don't take yourself too seriously — take God seriously.

God rescued the children of Israel from Egypt by a number of incredible miracles and took very good care of them but they rebelled against Him and would not live the way He told them to thus they lost the promised land. This continued to go on with their children and ALL NATIONS. As a result, God first sent prophets and then His son. Nothing has changed from then until now and we too risk losing our promised land because we will not live the way He has told us to live but there is still time to get it IF we will live the way that He has told us to and we can read how in the letter that God wrote to us-the Bible

When I went to therapy they told me to leave and never come back again! And that hurt me a lot. All I needed was for them to accept me as I was! As Christians we have to meet the same need with other people. We must simply accept them “as they are” and help them. Our job is not to try to change them but simply to accept them and love them because that’s what God does with us and we are the body of Christ!
Joel 1:3 3 Make sure you tell your children, and your children tell their children, And their children their children. Do we do this? NO! We pay others to tell them
