Gen 32:3-4
3 Then Jacob sent messengers on ahead to his brother Esau in the land of Seir in Edom. 4 He instructed them: "Tell my master Esau this, 'A message from your servant Jacob”

Per the blessing from his father Isaac, Jacob was the master and Esau was the servant. This shows us that in all situations WE need to be servants and let everyone else be the master.
