As a way to focus on themselves rather than on their creator, God, human beings tend to take all the credit for what they can do which is the same thing as a tea pot boasting that they can hold tea rather than thanking the potter who made them. Hence human beings ask for and get many things like: money, rewards, degrees, acclaim, applause and the like for things that they do rather than simply focusing on what a good job their creator did.
