I have learned something very important that I want to share with you: neither money nor behavior have a thing to do with forgiveness. Case in point: when Joseph’s brothers (after they had beat him up and sold him as a slave) came to him in Egypt to buy food from him, he quietly gave them back their money along with food.

His compassion for them took precedence over everything else and I believe that is how God is. We are sinners and don’t deserve it and we may be wealthy but God’s compassion for us outweighs everything else.
