Thinking that you are “saved” by God is not just simply a matter of whether or not you did all the right things because God knows your heart and if doing the right things was sufficient then you could have saved yourself! God repeatedly said that He has to be your primary concern, not your job, money, clothes, people or anything else.

To run the world Satan will try VERY HARD to make you focus on everything else as long as you keep from focusing on God and what he did to Adam & Eve is a good example of that.
