The big thing for most humans is to do well so that they can make something of themselves so life becomes a “human race”
and people must be best or first. But God says that the first will be last and the last will be first.

Even though the Apostle Paul wanted to be perfect Jesus told him: “my power in made perfect in weakness”.

The usual way to live your life is to either become a Christian or just live your life as you see fit.

If you become a Christian there are certain rules that you must follow and it won’t be easy. If you follow all the rules then you hope forever in Heaven. So you do have a future but ONLY if you live by the rules.

If you just live you see fit you can only view your death as the end. So tomorrow becomes very important to you in fact what happens tomorrow is your future.

So you make your decision about how to live and you hope that you’re right.

I live my life a little differently than that. I am a Christian but there are no rules to follow. I know that salvation or eternal life is a gift from God and He did it once and for all. All He expects from you is that you deny yourself and have faith, and I can do that!

So, for me, there are no rules. I have read the Bible multiple times and I can tell you that God is way more forgiving than humans are

So read the Bible and than decide how you are going to live your life. It’s either God’s way or the human way.

I know God a little differently than most people do because of the things that were done to me and the way I lived. All things were bad but I do know the Bible well and everything that I experienced all agreed with what it says. And believe me I have checked it out.

The biggest difference that have noticed is that I know that God loves us much more than we know. He is my Father and my friend. Much more than I could comprehend.

He knows my heart and not just my behaviors! At a time when I would have expected Him to reject me He more than accepted me-He gave me life!

But I looked and looked because I was sure that I would not go to Heaven so I have read the whole Bible multiple times but I always come away more convinced that He loves me!

So I have thought: “Why would I think that He didn’t love me?” And time and time again I would realize that it’s because that’s what people have told me and acted like! I have faith and it’s more than just a belief, it’s works too! That’s who I’ve been for years.

So the next time that someone tells you that God is unhappy with something that you’ve done first of all ask yourself how would they know what He thinks and then read the Bible!

People are so intense on the impressions that they make on other people which to me is rather odd. It is much easier for me to know that what people feel doesn’t matter because God accepts me just as I am.

I hear the word ‘perfect’ a lot. Why is everyone so stuck on the word ‘perfect’? No one is perfect themselves so why does everything else have to be perfect?

Everything I see is ‘the best’ for you. It is interesting that everyone wants ‘the best’ because 100 years in this world is no comparison to forever in Heaven.

I’m NOT boasting but there is no pride in me. (Thank you God!)

Pride is something that the World demands but as Christ followers we don’t have it.

When I read the Old Testament it is informational only but when I read the New Testament those are the commands of God.

Col 2:8
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

This is another new book calle: It's not about me!

Introduction

In an effort to enable the people that He created to spend eternity with Him God wrote everything down in the Bible. It has survived for years and is used by people everywhere. The events are true and the events were prophesied or told about years before they occurred.

You can go back through history and see that they all occurred. But to imagine that the creator of this world actually told people what was going to happen in the far distant future and they believed Him is testimony to His existence and He revealed His plan in the Bible as well.

Unbelievable as it is to us He loves us.

But the Bible is about much more than just salvation.

It is meant to show people His plan that is much more than about you, what you can become, what you know or what you can do it’s about how to get in line to share eternity with Him.

People are always evaluating themselves and others but only one evaluator matters and that’s God.

People are always comparing themselves to standards but there is only one standard that matters and that is Jesus. And Jesus will give us His standard so we can go to Heaven! We don’t have to earn it, He gives it to us!

Our lives here on Earth are to please God. That’s it.



In turn He has offered to give us a wonderful eternity if we follow His plan and it’s all in the Bible.

But our culture encourages us to live our lives always saying me, me, me instead of God, God, God and the purpose of this book is to change that.

Your future involves eternity and your eternity can be secured through God.

One thing that people like to say is that Heaven is there for you IF you don’t sin but we’re humans so WE DO SIN! The Bible is very clear about that but it also says something else too. When we come to Christ it says that we are ‘dead to sin’. So I’ll ask you: What does dead mean? Well if something is dead then it is no more and nothing can affect it.


So if you are with God you are dead to sin. So sin cannot affect you and with regards to our previous sins we are forgiven. It’s not that we didn’t do them because we did, but we have been forgiven for them.

So Heaven is there for us.

Chapter 1
Why not me, me, me?

Did you create the world? NO. Did you create yourself? NO. Did you create anything? NO. So who created everything? God. And you are living in the World that He created for you so everything isn’t just about you it’s about God.

This world tells you that life is all about you and what you can do but can you do things like God? NO.

You are also just one person in this world and there are billions of others so what you can accomplish is actually miniscule.

But God’s son Jesus came here with a purpose: to save others and He accomplished that while making things better in the meantime.

His purpose was complete and it was approved by His Father. But He had to die to do it and He did! You don’t have to die to accomplish things. You just work hard to accomplish things for your boss and you get paid money but He did it for us so YOU are the paycheck.

You have already cost God’s son His life and you are the paycheck that has already been given so why would everything now be just about you?

Everything in this world was created to please God. Jesus coming from Heaven was prophesied about in the Old Testament and it pleased God.

So are you working for God or your boss? My guess is that you’re working for 1-your boss and 2-money but there is much more for you than that.

Why would you limit yourself just to things for this life when there’s so much more available when you consider eternity?

Eternity (forever) is much longer than this life. If you are something special in this life but spend eternity in Hell you’re your accomplishments and your boss wont matter and you wont be happy but if you live for God and spend eternity in Heaven then you will be happy.

So the question of why not me, me, me has a much different view now doesn’t it?

Chapter 2
Why we need salvation

I‘m sure that you think that you’ve been good enough but the Bible (God’s word) says that we’ve all sinned:
Rom 3:23-24
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God , 24 and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.

And without faith in Jesus we’re all lost:
John 3:17-18
17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. 18 Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son.

So we’re condemned already (going to Hell). Not condemned if we don’t do something, we’re already condemned from the start. But if we do believe in Jesus then we’re not condemned because we believe in Jesus (God’s one and only son) and we have salvation.

In addition to salvation, many other things happen:

God adopts us into His family.

Our future for eternity is with him.

The Holy Spirit lives in us.

We have gotten the ultimate gift and so we’re happy forever.
Isn’t that better than a paycheck?

No boss or company can ever give you that much and it’s not a paycheck that you have to work for because it’s a free gift!

Salvation isn’t hard to get it’s a gift.

Chapter 3
When God came to Earth

God has always had a plan for the Earth that He created but His timing is not ours. When something does not work as we would like for it to we figure out why and do things differently. Not so with God.

He created the Earth and we assume that things weren’t going well so He came in the form of Jesus. Huge assumption.

No one knows God but it is pretty safe after having read the Bible to assume that He does nothing by chance. He gave people many opportunities to do things but when the time was right He sent His son, Jesus to the Earth.

Now just being able to wait until the time was right was something that only God could do. Another one way being able to successfully plan things so thoroughly that He would knew, not guessed that the time was right.

There are many forms that He could have come in but He chose to come as a baby. He chose an unmarried virgin girl to impregnate, grow and be born as a baby. Not exactly the form that you or I would have chosen but He knew the whole story and we didn’t.

He even chose relatives also as He prepared to live and grow among us.

And He had chosen to tell people finite details about Himself hundreds of years before He was born. And all of those details are in the Bible and we can read them.

He was born in an animals barn and was placed in an animals feeding container called a manger. And when He was born the angels told several shepherds of His birth, where He was and how to find Him.

He also told 3 kings in far away counties far enough in advance so they would have the time to travel a long distance to go and see Him.

In addition to all of that He had several stars gather up in the sky above where He was born. He had come with a purpose. To give His life as the Father’s ransom for mankind (the people that He had created).

After He had died and been raised and left the Earth for Heaven but He continued to help:

13 When they saw the courage of Peter and John and realized that they were unschooled, ordinary men, they were astonished and they took note that these men had been with Jesus.

The power of God was greater than any human it always has been, it is now and it always will be.

This eliminates the wonder of whether or not He can help you.

Chapter 4
The Purpose

He could have come any way but He wanted to live among us so He came as a baby. And He came to forgive sins:

Matt 1:18
18 This is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about: His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be with child through the Holy Spirit.

Due to the change in times Mary was probably a teenager! And at first Joseph was very upset! A young wife who had gone away and came home very pregnant. Yes he was upset:

Matt 1:20-23
20 But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. 21 She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins."

22 All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23 "The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel"-which means, "God with us."

He live His entire life teaching God’s word, feeding people, healing people, raising people from the dead and showing people that there really was another way.

But that threatened people’s accomplishments because it said “it’s not about YOU” and the people of this world did not like it one bit!

Not surprisingly it sounds very much like today.

The world teaches you that everything is about you but Jesus (God) came and taught you that everything is about God and proved His story by doing things that other people couldn’t do, so who are you going to believe?

As scripture says He came once and for all so He’s not coming again to convince you but to judge you. Are you ready for that?

And when He left this Earth and went to Heaven the Father rewarded Him:

Acts 5:31
31 God exalted him to his own right hand as Prince and Savior that he might give repentance and forgiveness of sins.

But even though He left miraculously people were still staring in amazement:
Acts 1:9-11

9 After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 "Men of Galilee," they said, "why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven , will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven ."

He will be back and He won’t be looking at what you can or can’t do or who or where you are, He’ll be looking at if you have served God. Are you ready for that?

Chapter 5
The ministry of Jesus

Jesus wasted no time. His entire life was spent teaching, healing, feeding, telling in short, serving God.

He came as one of us to prove to us that there IS a way to survive. He continually demonstrated that the things that we encounter, no matter how big they seem to us are small potatoes to God like food, disabilities, money, illness, life, death even location.

And He took real human beings to do it but the religious leaders of that time didn’t like it. Why? Because the focus of His ministry was on God not on them. They saw Jesus as competition. And although there was no aristocracy involved at all people’s opinions meant a lot to them.

He chose 12 apostles, normal every day men to teach them His way and teach everyone that anyone could do this and so that the apostles could carry on when He left to go back to Heaven.

His ministry was very difficult because of the world or to put it bluntly, the way of people. But because He was there for people He stuck it out.

In the Old Testament the ministry from God was done but it was done from Heaven but in the New Testament the ministry came to Earth and that was headed up by Jesus. Same story just a different location and really that’s all we needed. Someone who was one of us, living like us but showing us a better way. And that’s what we got.

During His Earthy ministry Jesus took normal ordinary men and made them apostles so that His work could be continued after He went back to Heaven and they did it:

Acts 4:13

So His ministry on Earth was successful then and it is now! Yes, God is in Heaven but He’s still active here now.

Chapter 6
The death of Jesus

It is important to note that this was known about, spoken about and prophesied about. I could easily go into all the horrible details that surrounded this but the fact is that He died for us.

After His death the Church didn’t stop NO it carried on. Remember, He came to die for everyone. This was planned, expected and of great benefit to us. Here are just two examples of how the Church moved on:

Luke 23:55-56

55 The women who had come with Jesus from Galilee followed Joseph and saw the tomb and how his body was laid in it. 56 Then they went home and prepared spices and perfumes. But they rested on the Sabbath in obedience to the commandment.

The women continued and found that He had risen. People were going somewhere and they saw Him:

Luke 24:1 - John 1:1
24:1 On the first day of the week, very early in the morning, the women took the spices they had prepared and went to the tomb. 2 They found the stone rolled away from the tomb, 3 but when they entered, they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

4 While they were wondering about this, suddenly two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning stood beside them. 5 In their fright the women bowed down with their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, "Why do you look for the living among the dead? 6 He is not here; he has risen! 28 As they approached the village to which they were going, Jesus acted as if he were going farther. 29 But they urged him strongly, "Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over." So he went in to stay with them.
30 When he was at the table with them, he took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them. 31 Then their eyes were opened and they recognized him, and he disappeared from their sight. 32 They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"
33 They got up and returned at once to Jerusalem. There they found the Eleven and those with them, assembled together 34 and saying, "It is true! The Lord has risen and has appeared to Simon."

35 Then the two told what had happened on the way, and how Jesus was recognized by them when he broke the bread.
36 While they were still talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, "Peace be with you."
37 They were startled and frightened, thinking they saw a ghost. 38 He said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts rise in your minds? 39 Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have."
40 When he had said this, he showed them his hands and feet. 41 And while they still did not believe it because of joy and amazement, he asked them, "Do you have anything here to eat?" 42 They gave him a piece of broiled fish, 43 and he took it and ate it in their presence.

44 He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."
45 Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures. 46 He told them, "This is what is written: The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, 47 and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. 48 You are witnesses of these things. 49 I am going to send you what my Father has promised; but stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high."
50 When he had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he lifted up his hands and blessed them. 51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven.

52 Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 53 And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.

See? He continued the Church then and He does it today.

This is what He came to do! To conquer the world and save us. So yes His death IS sad but what He did for us is too good to be true!

And the concept of death being good is totally new to us. No pain, no sorrow only an unimaginable blessing. Talk about Heaven in the real world!

Chapter 7
What people did then

Acts 4:27-30

27 Indeed Herod and Pontius Pilate met together with the Gentiles and the people of Israel in this city to conspire against your holy servant Jesus, whom you anointed. 28 They did what your power and will had decided beforehand should happen. 29 Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness. 30 Stretch out your hand to heal and perform miraculous signs and wonders through the name of your holy servant Jesus."

33 When they heard this, they were furious and wanted to put them to death. 34 But a Pharisee named Gamaliel, a teacher of the law, who was honored by all the people, stood up in the Sanhedrin and ordered that the men be put outside for a little while. 35 Then he addressed them: "Men of Israel, consider carefully what you intend to do to these men. 36 Some time ago Theudas appeared, claiming to be somebody, and about four hundred men rallied to him. He was killed, all his followers were dispersed, and it all came to nothing. 37 After him, Judas the Galilean appeared in the days of the census and led a band of people in revolt. He too was killed, and all his followers were scattered. 38 Therefore, in the present case I advise you: Leave these men alone! Let them go! For if their purpose or activity is of human origin, it will fail.

39 But if it is from God, you will not be able to stop these men; you will only find yourselves fighting against God."

Then people stayed with Jesus teaching as if He was still there.

Chapter 8
What we should do now

Jesus has conquered the world and given us a wonderful gift. In addition the Father has adopted us into His family and made us heirs with Christ. In addition even that the Holy Spirit will come and live in us!

When we come to Christ we are new creations and we are dead to sin. So even though we’re human and can still sin, sin has literally no effect on us. It’s still bad and we shouldn’t do it but it’s power over us is gone!

Now is when your part comes in. You have to ‘deny yourself’. God has given you everything and He must be the most important thing to you.

He has already created the world, conquered the world, created you and made a way to save you for all time so it shouldn’t be too hard to make Him #1.

This is where the you, you, you thing comes into play. If everything is always about you then there’s no room for God. You’ve got to change your whole way of thinking and make Him be #1 in your life. God has been very patient, gone through a lot, explained a lot and given you a lot but He won’t do this forever.

This is your choice alone and it is 100% from you and salvation is waiting on you.

I am God’s child and that makes me so happy! It’s not about anything that I have done or may do and it has nothing to do with how I look or what I drive. It’s been given to me!

The most critical thing that we as humans can do is to realize that God is far more powerful than we are which is not easy for a human to do.

Following God is not as “straight and narrow” as people say. That is out there to make people turn away because the most difficult thing you have to do is deny yourself.

Jesus was popular at some times with people but most often He was unpopular.

In Jesus day the prominent religious people said: “Death to the radical He’s way out of line!” and it’s the same for you now.

As long as you focus on doing “good” things your focus is on yourself and not on God.

Religion has a very bad habit of saying “be” or “stay” “holy”. You are NOT HOLY and you have the righteousness of Christ. So YOU aren’t holy but HE is!

before it is published this is a new book that I have written called: A word from our creator changes everything!

As the Bible begins God creates the Heavens and the Earth. Genesis has a good explanation of how this happened but I should begin by telling you that everything was created simply by Him speaking. IF any of us created anything at all it would take much more than just our speech but He is much more powerful than any of us.

Think about this: all the weather, landscapes, seasons, air, mountains, rivers, oceans, plants, animals, etc. were created as He spoke. And everything was complete.

Then He created people. Mankind was created in His image to represent Him to each other and He made this process permanent so it happens again and again.




As God created the Earth it was much more than just one time creation, these all have life spans and specific characteristics and all living things reproduce. So in addition to what happens with people, creation happens again and again!

And people that He created study what He’s done to understand it and try to recreate it but it takes much more than just a word to make it happen, and nothing at all just reproduces once it is done.

God loves all of His creations but especially humans.

To place reproductive power in His creations it’s obvious that He has a purpose.

But His work was far from done.



God physically lived with the first human beings that He had created. He had Adam name the animals and in later books you’ll see that He remembered the names that Adam had given them.

God very much enjoyed living with His human creations. He was always there and one day He gave them some simple instructions to follow and Satan who was an Angel that God had created stepped in to join God’s human creations and convinced them to do something different than God had commanded them to do.

The result was a disaster. God stopped physically living with His human creations, Satan was thrown out of Heaven and given the Earth to manage (which he still does) and the humans were removed from their location and given a life span and ordered to take care of themselves.

God still tried to get humans to follow Him though. Not physically with them anymore He used humans to talk to and teach His creations.

He was very powerful and still had a plan so He even joined some humans (the Israelites) to try and lead them but that did not work well. Even freeing them from slavery, a cloud by day and fire by night, keeping their clothes intact, giving them food and drink and giving them land was not sufficient for them.

He tried many different things always trying to lead His creations but it never worked.

After He died and rose again He appeared to many and then ascended back into Heaven and was promoted by the Father.


Now when we truly accept Him He lives in us.

Lives in us what does that mean?

It means that His actual spirit lives within us so that our decisions become His decisions. He said that we MUST deny ourselves and for a human that is not easy. That means that our old self has died with Him and our new self becomes more focused on Him.

Our behavior may not always be good but we’re dead to sin so things have no spiritual effect on us and our focus is still on Him regardless of what we do.

He lives in us so we are no longer important to ourselves but He is.



That is a 180 degree turn for us. We’ll still do things that are not good but we always focus on Him and that is NOT common in this World. That’s totally opposite of the ME FIRST! and I’M THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON mentality of this World.

So what now?

We live as a servant for Him. We’re still human beings and we’ll still make mistakes but God is OMNI and we have been forgiven way in advance so living for Him is all that we can do.

Among the Israelites God said: “there shall be no poor among you”.

People HAVE TO UNDERSTAND that the Bible is not some book of Theology or just a list of rules regulations it is a letter from the creator to the created of how much He loves them.

What I never hear about the Bible is that God has done everything possible to show us that He loves us! In life we would be very happy to receive that and we have.

He even taught the Israelites how to care for one another. The Bible makes it clear that you are blessed to be a blessing.

God even instructed the Israelites on how to save and spend money. So He knows what you have and how you use it.

When I was reading the Bible this morning God went through the names of all the animal to eat. Noah had named the animals and God knew their names so God is closer and more aware than you think.

Everything comes from God.

Deut 8:18
18 But remember the LORD your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth.

I’ve never heard anyone say this before but I did read this in the Bible. The Israelites clothes never wore out so they lasted for years! So with that alone you would think that they would have trusted God.

My faith has never been increased by what I could do or buy or anything else. It has only been only in God.

Our lives right now may not be what WE desire but we’re living this life on the Earth and in the next life we will be in Heaven with God. So real, we’re in training for awhile.

This is NOT a criticism. Originally Churches met in peoples homes where people studied together and helped each other and grew, now Churches are businesses. There are educational degrees that people get to work in Churches but the Bible is a letter from the creator to His creations.

Many good books have been written and many good recordings have made about God but I am thinking that maybe a good book title would be: The Word Changes Everything!

For many of us our lives on Earth are a constant competition! We have to be the best of everyone therefore there are many things to measure our performance. But remember that the one who manages the Earth had that same goal.

In the beginning God was physically with His creations but they disobeyed Him. For a long time God was with His creations and then He came to live with us and we killed Him. Now He is in us and will come here again. We may still disobey Him but He loves us enough to wait a long time and then we’ll physically be with us again.

I’m wondering if people go to Church for just the people or for God? God is always with us so is it just for community standing or more? We can learn a lot at Church but our goal should not be status rather our goal should be to represent God to others.

People seem to think that God waits to see what we’re going to do before He does anything with us somehow forgetting the He is OMNI and wrote down all the days of our lives in His book before we were born.

This is probably hard to imagine but we are all part of God’s creation! We are here to reflect Him on this Earth, nothing more.

Jesus said that once we come to Him we’re free indeed but until I got hurt I never felt free but now being free is how I feel!

As a Christian your chains are gone. You have died with Christ. You’re free indeed!

Religion now is much like the Pharisees and Sadducees were years ago. God is OMNI and as His child you are dead to sin so whatever you do is already known by God. Now the Church is another thing entirely.

Religion always tells you that you will be accountable , but God is OMNI so you have already been accountable for what you’ll do next year.

Being OMNI God already knew what you were going to do a week from now when you accepted Him and that’s more than you can know!

Talk about peace! Knowing that I will die when God is ready for me is the most peace possible.

If God’s word says ‘future’ how is it possible to backslide?

38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The religious term “backslider” is very common but very wrong. When someone turns to Christ they receive forgiveness, they are dead to sin and they receive Christ’s righteousness so how could they possibly backslide? They can’t.

People have to be very sure about things in this world, however what God can do with you is better than anything you can be sure about.

Interestingly enough God came to Earth to do things His way and because it was not man’s way man killed Him.

I find it interesting that instead of just believing in God humans have created Santa Clause, the sleigh, the reindeer, the holiday, gifts & good cheer. There must be something worth competition

This morning all by myself I felt Dad’s love for me. No matter what may happen to me in this World I know that I am going home to Heaven to Him. I have no worries or fear.

At first God lived with His creations, then He was a cloud by day and a fire by night then prophets then He came as one of us. He is still here in us. That’s a HUGE effort on His part but the choice to follow Him is still ours.

In the Old Testament God while leading His creations gave them humans to lead them as well but people still did whatever they wanted. In the New Testament God lead us by Himself. What will you do?

Maybe in Heaven we’ll be able to comprehend how much God has given to each of us as Humans, but on Earth we think that things such as money, title, education, positions and other things make us successful in life but I’ve had all of that before but I was successful in life only because of God’s love.

Unfortunately people have confused ‘the best’ with the ‘most money’ but no one can be ‘the best’ but God.

What you choose to do NEVER just affects you alone. What you choose to do affects others because you have done it.

I’m sure that people can’t possibly realize this but the most incredible thing that we will ever experience is God’s love for us.

When you are doing something ask yourself this question: “Who benefits if I do this?” If it is God then do it but if it is not then don’t. It is good to do things for God but it is not good to do things for yourself or others.

It seems that people want others to say: I “love” it, and this seems to be the standard saying that means that something is good enough. However this demonstrates many other problems.

First of all love is a big word that means much more than like. It means that something is the ultimate. So to love something means much more than people use it for and it’s more than the Bible uses it for.

Next, it demonstrates that people are no longer in control of their expectations. They exhibit their expectations with the word love when they really should be saying ‘like’.

So what’s next? I think that it would be smarter if expressions were used properly to define what people really feel. Also if people would just focus on who really is ultimate, God, then ultimate happiness could really happen and it doesn’t cost a cent!

More than anything I see that most people are buying into this world even though they say that they are Christians. So denying yourself just becomes something that they say but don’t do.

Your goal in life is NOT to promote yourself but to promote God. That is 100% opposite of what we’re taught in this world but it’s 100% correct with what we’re taught in the Bible. It wont be easy for you but they killed Jesus.

Denying yourself sounds fine in concept but soon the demands of this world come and we fall back into defending ourselves. Jesus knew that so He said that you must deny yourselves. This seems hard to do but it says: I can’t do this but God can.

Everyone knows: The just shall live by faith, but faith is much more than a belief in something, it is a lifestyle. That’s why Jesus said to deny yourselves. YOU are not important but HE is.

This is a huge problem that we face. Just ask yourself: “to whom are they really important?” Importance is a big thing for humans but God is important and He’s not human.

I heard this this morning. It is not just Paul’s battle it is mine too and I’m pretty sure it’s your too. But Paul didn’t change and neither will I.

Religion has a bad problem of using the term “prayer life” as if it is separate from the rest of your life and distinct. I don’t see it that way at all. I pray as a normal part of my life. I talk to my Father because I am His child.

Whether we have accepted Him or not God loves each of us.

I don’t think that we realize this but we are both deeply loved and cared for by God. Even the person that dies from hunger is deeply loved by God. People who are in prisons are loved by God. Everyone He created is loved by God.

I am not responsible to God for what others do but I AM RESPONSIBLE TO GOD FOR WHAT I DO.

In the Old Testament God requested things that were very specific and not at all common for people to do but they had to be done. I the New Testament Jesus did it all for us IF we accept Him.

In Numbers 28-30 you can see that pleasing God was difficult for a normal person to do and an abnormal person could not do it by themselves. But them came Jesus and anyone could do that.

Compassion. I can’t give you a real definition for compassion but I can tell you how I feel.

To me compassion is when how I feel about anything doesn’t matter but how others feel does matter. My life is NOT ABOUT ME it’s about God. Not everyone cares about God so not everyone will like or accept me but God knew that would happen so it’s ok.

So I’m never offended or worried. I do speak my peace but I don’t get worried or offended.

From the beginning to time God has been trying very patiently to get the humans that He created to acknowledge Him and His presence in their lives.

He could just have made them say: “I am thankful because the creator of everything chose also to create me…” but He didn’t. Instead He wants us to determine this all on our own.

Oh, He tried many times to do it with humans but when that didn’t work He finally sent His son and He saved us once and for all.

But as humans I’m not so sure that He has gotten what He needs from us. Our lives (though they are gifts) center more on ourselves and what WE can do than on Him and what He has done.

In the Bible families were given names such as their last name + ites now for us, since this is our life, we receive the name Christian to reflect our heritage. But it is a family.

As humans we will do everything possible to impress other humans and for doing so we get things from others to show their appreciation and as a result we work very hard to impress others. In fact impressing people is a way of life for us.

However ‘impression’ normally only lasts for a short time and nondisabled people aren’t impressed by disabled people at all. Impression is a tough thing for people to maintain.

Fortunately with our Father He is impressed with Jesus alone and the Father is impressed with us only because we have been given Jesus righteousness so there’s nothing that we have to maintain.

So nondisabled and disabled are both the same to Him therefore life is much easier.

Life on Earth isn't easy or simple instead it's hard. The only easy or simple thing that I have on Earth is my relationship with God. When other things get complicated I have something to turn to.

People think that they are everything

Throughout the Old Testament with respect to sacrifices made to God the words “best” and “clean” were repeatedly used but God already knew the difference this was for the people so THEY could see the difference. This was done as a pre-learning for Christ for whom there is a huge difference. And as it was then, it still is for us so that we can see that real difference.

While reading through Numbers 15-17 this morning it was clear to me that people thought that they were more important than God and today people are the same way.

Experts and professionals are the only ones who people turn to but not many people turn to God. Experts and professionals can’t save them but God can.

I’m sure that God used experts and professionals to save me but I am not here for them, I’m here for God.

Getting people today to be happy with God is as easy as it was moving the Israelites out of Egypt. Not easy.

I find this very interesting. What I see is that people look at everything to see if it’s good enough for them. The nicer the better. People do not seem to be thankful for what they see or even that they are in the position to even look at all because they always want something better. But ‘good enough’ is not something that they have to be with God.

God accepts them and gives them more than the ultimate not because they are good but because Jesus was good.

Things on this Earth should be the same. Jesus expectations already weren’t met before He came to Earth but He still came. We should be the same.

Think about this

At 42 I was injured and nearly died but God took care of that.

The habits that I had learned for life (and remembered) were eventually going to kill me but God took care of that.

So I am very thankful to God.

In the Old Testament God spoke to specific people about doing specific things but in the New Testament Christ died to save anyone once for all.

Food—especially high calorie junk food filled with fat and sugar affects our brain receptors in just the same way that drugs and alcohol do.

In these countries my BLOG is being read: USA, Italy, Russia, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, China, Iran, Malaysia, Belarus and Morocco.

That’s what’s on my plate.

That’s all I can do but God is using it!

When reading the Bible this morning I noticed the things that the Lord said were very detailed and in the past I just thought that the Lord was very detailed but now I see that God was totally there.

In reading Numbers 1-3 this morning it was obvious that our loving God took an immense amount of words and time to explain what He wanted to the Israelites. But when that didn’t work He sent Jesus to become one of us.

When things do no go well we suffer. But read this:
Rom 8:17-18
17 Now if we are children, then we are heirs — heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

We don’t have to wait until all is well but we can celebrate ever little hint of the Kingdom that is at hand.

God rejoices because one of His Children was lost and is found and we are invited to join Him in a celebration.

Heb 11:4

Bad things happen to people who have faith but God is still there:

4 By faith Abel offered God a better sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man, when God spoke well of his offerings. And by faith he still speaks, even though he is dead.

Our Father wants us more than anything else to receive the love He freely gives to us freely.

But sometimes we judge others even thought’s not our job and make up rules that aren’t in the Bible.

But through all that God still freely loves us.

God, creator of Heaven and Earth, has chosen to be, first & foremost, a Father.

We have to be careful because many times we think that something is good but we must remember that God’s standards are not human standards.

Why is there an Old and New Testament?

In the Old humans were required to offer sacrifices but in the New Jesus sacrificed himself once for all.

God loves you and wants to be with you regardless of whether you just had a mad escapade with sin or if you are a faithful follower.

Jesus told the parable about the prodigal son for important reasons:
1. To remind us that things may be fun
but our home is with God.
2. We are His children and He loves us dearly.
3. As His children we are not to question His love or judge one another.

A part of this Earthly lifestyle is that everyone tries to be THE BEST and unfortunately with religion that still applies. Jesus is THE ONLY BEST that there is.

Jesus shows a distinct preference for those who are marginal in society--the poor, the sick and the sinners.

How quickly are we to note & point out the shortcomings of others with pride without acknowledging first that we are just like them and without Christ we too would be lost?

And Jesus said that we’re dead to sin but many still point out sin.

Many times people who say that they are Christians become closely wedded to the desire to become good and virtuous which is a shame because Jesus is the only one that was truly good and virtuous.

We have been released from more than we know. God has made us FREE INDEED!

As human people we rely on what we CAN see & know but God isn’t human so not only can’t we see Him but we can’t know Him either, and that’s where faith comes in.
