Eph 2:9-10
10 For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works , which God prepared in advance for us to do.
NIV

Read the above verse very closely.

People seem to think that they have to be something good to be something good. But is that why were here? To be something good? Does being something good mean we have done well and our efforts are worth it?

In reference to the verse above, why were we made? By God to do His good works.

His works.

Wait just one moment. Are you saying that everything is about Him and not us?

Yes I am.

He prepared works, good works in advance for us to do.

Are you saying that we can’t make it or do well in this world? No, but what I am saying is that “in this world” only applies to “this world”. You may get money or things. However, in the next world your accomplishments here will not apply.

So what should we do?

Well, first of all accept the fact that you were made to do His works like it says in the Bible. So now accomplishment means something totally different! Life on earth isn’t just about you, it’s about Him.

That’s 100% opposite of what the world teaches you. And Satan is 100% different from God. And Satan runs this world, but God is still in control and He will run the next world, and He has eyes now.

So to teach people and realize that the Bible is correct and that we are here to do His good works is why we’re here.
