the gift

For us to receive a gift certain things have to happen: 1. There must be a reason to get it 2. The giver has to want to give us that gift 3. We must qualify to receive that gift When looking at the gift of eternal life: 1. The reason to get it is that we are created by God (the giver) to give Him glory 2. The giver, God wants us to have that gift 3. To qualify for the gift we have to follow His standards which are spelled out in His word, the Bible We will be given the gift of eternal life IF these things happen and the giver of that gift has been both very patient and very explicit
