In Isaiah 37 when the Assyrians came I am reminded that it is very much like society and us as Christ followers. Society has rules that we have to follow and if we don’t then they tell us that we’ll lose. But God is not like a pattern! He can do anything He wants whenever He wants and for whoever He wants so there is no pattern!
