When the Israelites were in the wilderness where were the experts, the colleges, the stores, the rewards and the money? Gone, that’s where but they had God and they were fine. God gave them food, water, clothing and everything else but they wanted everything the old way. We have created standards for things and we prefer to have those standards rather than trusting on God. We prefer to trust in our own standards so it’s like the clay telling the potter: “I know a better way!”.
