Eternal life is a gift from God to spiritual people however
the are many examples in the Bible where good human people are tested by God so
YES it is a gift from Him but humans have to qualify to get it while they are
still humans. This is much the same as
people have to qualify to get human gifts.
For example you can’t get a birthday gift unless it’s your birthday. In the same way you can’t receive the gift of
eternal life until 1) eternity and 2) you have faith. And this is a HUGE gift so we do have to
qualify to get it
