1 Kings 1:51 51 Solomon was told, "Adonijah, fearful of King Solomon, has taken sanctuary and seized the horns of the Altar and is saying, 'I'm not leaving until King Solomon promises that he won't kill me.'" See? He assumed that by doing this thing he would be just fine!
