The Pharisees, Sadducees, religious leaders & religious scholars are in the Bible for a reason. People highly respected them and they were paid very well. Each one opposed Jesus and they were around then and they’re around today. They claim to be experts but they don’t know the Bible and while they claim to but they don’t know God. The scriptures are quite clear, in fact they even contain foretelling by prophets of what has gone on but the focus is on God so they didn’t and don’t like them or know them.

So it comes down to you. You have to know the Bible and know God. You can’t rely on others to know! The Bible is there for you to read and understand. It’s not hard to understand. It’s a letter from your creator to you and you don’t need a degree to understand it. Your creator wrote the Bible for you to read! He didn’t write it hoping that someday people with degrees could explain it to you so that you could understand them and obey Him.

The message then and the message now is exactly the same: You are responsible for yourself. Your decisions will determine your destination! Don’t rely on anyone else! Jesus said it repeatedly: If you’re not for me then you’re against me, so either your focus is on Him or others. Jesus said: I am in the driver’s seat NOT you, and in the garden of Eden Satan told Adam & Eve to drive which was a huge problem! So you can either repeat that problem and face the punishment later or oppose the error, let Jesus drive and enjoy the reward later.

Satan manages the world so this not a popular choice now but it will be a popular choice later. Just as no one has ever seen God in this world no one has ever seen Heaven but God is there and Heaven is there and all we have to do is get there. Remember what Jesus said: “If you’re not for me, you’re against me!” So be for Him and let Him drive.
