We have to be careful because many times we think that something is good but we must remember that God’s standards are not human standards.

In the Old humans were required to offer sacrifices but in the New Jesus sacrificed himself once for all.

God loves you and wants to be with you regardless of whether you just had a mad escapade with sin or if you are a faithful follower.

Jesus told the parable about the prodigal son for important reasons:
1. To remind us that things may be fun
but our home is with God.
2. We are His children and He loves us dearly.
3. As His children we are not to question His love or judge one another.

A part of this Earthly lifestyle is that everyone tries to be THE BEST and unfortunately with religion that still applies. Jesus is THE ONLY BEST that there is.

Jesus shows a distinct preference for those who are marginal in society--the poor, the sick and the sinners.
